One thing I will say: the flatmates were really, really a good family. ❤️ I honestly wouldn’t mind if they had a whole separate story about the flatmates alone.

Because for the first time, a guy who admires the FL isn’t toxic, and neither are his actions. Instead, he’s someone who should be cherished and taken care of. Flora is really lucky to have such good flatmates. One is so mature "SY", while the other, despite having his own pain, still tries to make other people’s lives brighter. 🥹

It’s just that luck wasn’t on his side, and that eventually led to everything that happened later. 💔

So sad... This definitely should’ve been included. This drama really needed 28 episodes to properly cover everything.

I want to talk about one thing that’s been lingering in my mind. I don’t know why, but something inside me keeps saying that we didn’t really get a good closure for SYZ’s death. It just happened, and then it felt like everything moved on. I don’t know whether the novel went more in-depth with it or not, but I really feel like it needed a proper closure.

After his death, we didn’t even get many scenes from SY’s perspective either. His impact on everyone’s lives was SO huge that I don’t think it could ever be fully expressed. 😭

Especially, I was waiting for Luke to apologize—for everything he took for SYZ and Tao’s relationship, and even for SYZ’s death. I don’t know how to phrase it properly, but I’m just not satisfied with how his ending was handled.

PS: I might be completely wrong, but this is just how I feel about it.
