And Tian Yuan's side-eye right after that? I actually laughed. He looked so done.

Now the Sixth Prince... why are you trying so hard to act cool? His first two scenes made me cringe a little.

The Fifth Prince is confusing both his brother **and** me. Right now, I don't think he ever truly loved GQ. It feels more like he's using her death as a disguise to secure the throne. I really hope he doesn't end up betraying his brother because I am **not** emotionally prepared for another *POJ* ending.
This line from SXH really stood out to me:

That one sentence says so much about what she's been through. She knows how to deal with cruelty because she's lived through it, but genuine kindness catches her off guard. I really hope they show more of her previous life because I want to see what shaped her into this person.
And finally... the Sixth Prince getting caught off guard was priceless. It's fun watching someone who's usually so composed lose his footing around the crown prince. ep3 made me hooked to this drama

My only complaint about Episode 1 is the execution. It felt a bit awkward at times because they focused so much on close-up face shots and every little facial movement that the overall body language and scene flow suffered. I get that they're trying to show off everyone's face cards (and honestly, they all have them 😭), but I hope they tone it down in the next episodes and let the scenes breathe a little more.
Other than that, I think it's a pretty good start, and I'm definitely interested in seeing where the story goes.
