Okay, I’m on episode 8, and wow—it’s so entertaining! Thank God I didn’t let the negative reviews affect me. Like omg, her two personalities and the whole concept—it’s just sooo good. It has everything: romance, thrill, everything haha. I think the haters are those typical viewers who only focus on CEO–poor girl type dramas, so they’re not able to accept this masterpiece 😂
For me, fei ting and his wife were the most disappointing characters in the drama. I couldn’t understand how they could be so foolish, and their story didn’t inspire me at all. Throughout the drama, the girl’s family—her parents, brother, and sister-in-law—are clearly selfish. They only care about her when she brings food, meat, or gifts; otherwise, they ignore or oppose her. Even then, she keeps going back to them, which shows a lack of self-respect. What frustrated me most is that even after everything, and even when lin song had a fracture , they still expect help as if it’s their right. Despite being treated badly, fei ting and his wife continue to support them. I don’t think this is about being kind despite others being bad—it’s about self-respect. And in that sense, I really disliked the couple and the girl’s family.
