I guess they just ended the story in theost conservative way, to make audiances happy. As long as they could get a happy end after so much sadness, I am happy

I wonder what was Van in the end? Was he only a tool to ease their life until they have completed the barrier? Technically, at this time, they could have killed Goongtan and things would nicely ended. Why they couldn't keep Ban? If touching WMH could bring back the gem together, why they didn't use this method to create the barrier and keep him?

There were alot of beautiful scenes, CGIs and tension in episode 1. The quality, story and directing was really goid. I want to continue. Are these elements still present during the rest if the drama?
