The katana gave me Final Fantasy vibes. Clooud's sword must have been something like that. Happy nobody died. Also I don't get why the heroes are students and teens? This could really use more mature characters. Not that it is bad, it is just that the story could use some depth or ideas which came from experience or older ages

I think they checked the fridge, but somebody moved the body and it was empty. That's why nothing big happened and the female lead thought they did not open it.
Agreed on bruises and points abou the stalker though
