Two Words: Girl Power ! This is one of the best dramas that really lasted a strong impression on me this year. There were so many aspects of it I loved but even more so for its interesting plot about the issues surrounding the internet and portal sites in South Korea. The three main female leads were great together in their interactions, that their relationships with their male partners seemed lackluster. The couple that stuck out to me however, was Lee Da Hee and Lee Jae Wook. (Scarlett and Seol Ji Hwan FTW!) They were honestly the saving grace for the romance in this drama, and I feel like I'm not the only one with that opinion. To put it simply I agree with the others that the main lead couple sucked or rather did not have enough chemistry to keep me entertained. I just found myself skipping their scenes and looked much forward to the other characters, especially the Barro Team workers, yet they were a bit underutilized. OST's were also phenomenal, it set up the mood for whichever scene nicely. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Mamamoo's "Wow", which is stuck in my head at the moment as I write this review lol.

emotional and really intriguing at first. but the storyline dragged in the middle and everything was all rushed in the end. i hated how so many storylines were introduced and never got a proper conclusion. so many things were just left open-ended, but i guess that's life. it became a youth romance drama quickly with so many characters that they obviously wanted the audience to care for, but i never did. i don't mind the romance but everything had to take a backseat because of it, when there should've been a balance since a lot of stuff was going on with joon woo's character. i was honestly hoping for something more, especially since it was so good in the beginning and some of the scenes actually made me cry. anyways, it's not bad. the performances were good, and i loved the cinematography. i couldn't remember any ost's so they didn't really stand out (that's not a good thing), but to be fair i really don't know what type of vibe they were looking for as a whole so maybe that factored into the ambiguous music. safe to say i don't plan on rewatching, but i would still recommend this if someone's looking for something to over a weekend. It's Okay.
Took me a long time to finish this ngl. Story could've been done a bit better. Characters' chemistry was okay at best, nothing special. Second leads saved this. Acting was good considering their character's personalities (Shin Se Kyung's acting has always irked me a bit before, but this was one of her better performances). Beware of those who don't like slow burn, since this is superrr slow. OST's were great as well, they really set the show nicely and I find myself humming to some of the songs at times. It's a great listen by itself, so I really recommend it. However, I don't really plan to rewatch this, and knowing what I know now, I don't think that I would have the motivation to really start this drama. But idk, I have this feeling that I'm actually really glad that I watched this. Overall, it's very comforting, has its sweet moments, and great witty banter between the actors (especially the second leads). It can be very confusing at times, and you often wonder where is this story going. But still, it's a good watch and isn't the worst I've seen (though there are tons of better dramas out there). I recommend it for the casual viewer, but don't go into it thinking it's a top tier drama. Was this review helpful to you?
