The original soul of the queen took over the body (earlier she coexisted with the chef's soul inside the body and gradually kept influencing him to do certain things with the king ;)). So it was a bittersweet ending I think.

I don't think he did that. He was a deity. He said that Heaven is fickle so I assume the decision was made and she was allowed to come back as a humbled nine-tail fox.

Maybe because Netflix wanted to dumb down its productions so people who are often on their phones while watching can keep track. And so there are constant explanaitions of what's going on. I hope Netflix will change it because it's hard to watch.

The way I understand it is that the king took away soldiers who were involved in searching for FL because it was prince's private business, so the kidnapper was left alone and unchecked.
