A beautiful series with a gathering of talented actors, with JC Lopez, Keleb Ong, Mar Soriano, and Orly Mejia, just to name a few. Minor technical flaws can be forgiven as it is a low budget production, and as such much better than many others.
KanThuas's story is cute, has been cute from the beginning, but First clearly stole this episode. I knew he was a good actor, but I didn't expect him to be this good.
The story isn't all that unique - reminds me of Rak Diao, fortunately without the taped laughter. But I like the cast. Funny for an ex-vampire to faint when he sees a cockroach. Kang Woo the lovable neighbor again, and Holland who I liked in "Ocean" when everybody else seemed to hate him. Good start.
Meen and Ping are hot which makes me go on watching this, but some kind of plot would help to not feel guilty after wasting 45 minutes on this. And subs that make sense. And support characters who don't think that speculating on their friend's relationship status is the only meaning of their lives.
The first episode of a series is supposed to make viewers want to see more. For me, this first episode completely failed to achieve that. It was boring, and the acting even worse than expected - the kids were much better than their older versions. I usually give a series the 3-episode chance, but if the second episode isn't much better, and I mean really much better, than the first, I'll drop it.

The Yearbook suffered from new Covid rules that were implemented when half of the series had been shot, so they had to reschedule everything. It may have been better to wait until restrictions were lifted.
I'm trying to find something positive to say about the first episode. The story isn't, the acting isn't either, so the most positive thing may be that I only almost fell asleep, because every time I was about to close my eyes, those sub-intelligent bodyguards popped up and kept me awake. Big Dragon? More a little lizard who has taken the red instead of the blue liquid and thinks it is a dragon now..
I watched 2 tiktok series before, "Bad Roommate" and "In a Relationship", and I liked both of them, because the stories were exciting although the episodes were only 3 or 4 minutes. Here, episodes are just 1 minute, and that kills it.
It can look so easy to make a beautiful little series. This show is evidence once again that short series can be much more complex than longer ones if they are well-written. It also proves that characters can have more than one trait, and that they can develop despite the short runtime. Add talented actors, and what you get is a lovely series that I'm sure to be missing after next Friday, like I am missing "About Youth" already.
What a rollercoaster this story has been. Nothing was the way it seemed to be. I liked in particular that the bad ones weren't only bad, the seemingly good ones had a very dark side, and the ending wasn't completely sad, but a little happy, too. IMO this series is among the best written BL series I've seen so far, and fortunately the actors are up to this standard, too.
Quite a good start - cinematography and acting were okay, and the leads can make a nice couple, but...
... I wonder if it wouldn't have been better not to reveal in the first episode that the family are all ghosts. It may be good from the comedy aspect for the viewers to know more than the main character, but some nice plot twists and a certain amount of suspense have been wasted that way.
