I thought they'd improve after One Day Pag-Ibig, but on the contrary: plot and script are worse, cinematography as poor, acting no better. Problem is, I've fallen for Allen Caguioa (who, as Ivo Rosimo shows glimpses of talent), so I'll have to carry on.
Just dropped my rating to 4.5. This show has become objectively terrible.Jin has devolved into what, in my younger…
I watched it last night, started to write a comment, which turned into a rant like yours, thought it wasn't worth it, deleted it and went to bed. Next Friday there's Stuck on you, Top Secret together, and Hometown Embrace, each of them better than this. And if all that isn't enough, there's PaulKen TV (the guys from Lakan Series, taking a shower together). Who needs Nitiman? I dropped it.
Ep 3 was nice. Not much 'action', but well constructed progress. Yves and Iyo doing great. And for a change, a Pinoy series with subs there the moment it's released, even in German! I'm liking it more from week to week.
They had deserved a better finale. BL-fans again, ex-girlfriend turning toxic again, completely useless. And two years later they still haven't advanced. What a shame.
I like the basic idea, the actors (looks as well as acting), the soundtrack, the setting. I don't like they aren't telling us what toothpaste to take when they do tell us what soap and what pills to take. I hope that ex-girlfriend isn't going to be the typical toxic kind. I'm afraid they are setting their bar dangerously high by repeatedly criticizing '1000 Stars'. And I wonder how they will develop all the subplots and characters introduced in the first two episodes when there are only 6 eps x 20 mins left. Mongkon, the headmaster's son, imo developed incredibly fast. Anyway, I find it worth watching.
I've always liked Gun, but he's surely made another step forward. Basic plot is somewhat cliché, but there are some refreshing elements, Kung Fu style. Good start.
True, it's tiringly slow, episodes are disappointingly short, things at the office meaningless, having the mother living in the flat useless for the plot (so far). all true. But then the adorable sidecouple kiss, and then there's Hank. I love it, and I don't feel guilty I do.
Star Image again managed to make good actors look completely in the wrong place, just like Kaleb Ong in Serpiente. I feel sorry for everyone who signs a contract with that company.
Is this a resort or a loony bin with pushy staff and guests sitting in a circle of chairs telling each other how miserable their lives are? Anyway, at least there's one more guy who's gonna take his shirt off. Which makes me go on watching, hoping it'll be less circle of chair and more taken off shirts.
CEO: '14-year-olds, my ass. These kids are in their 20s' Me: Are they really? Most of them act like they aren't even 12. And please, please don't make Lukmo and Simai stepbrothers!
That's a brilliant start. Talented and handsome actors, a beautiful, but not over-romanticized setting, very good cinematogrphy. a promising storyline and an extremely nice OST. I love this already.
I honestly have mixed feelings about this episode. Something was not right about it. And trailer for the next…
I don't want to see a season 2 either, and I also have a bad feeling with regard to the finale because this series had a few really beautiful scenes, but many lame and even distasteful ones. What I do want, though, is a series with a better script that makes the talents of Pond, Louis, Phuwin and even Neo (who I think can do much better than in this one) shine. Maybe not all of them in the same series because that would always feel like a season 2 even if it was a different project.
Production quality and soundtrack are good. JM and Reb are nice contrasts that promise six exciting episodes to come, with masks and shirts hopefully gradually being taken off. Both Yves and Iyo are fine actors. I'm starting to like this series.
