10/10!

I cannot say enough good things about this show. Its a 10 out of 10 for me in all aspects. Story wise it keeps you engaged from the get go, never a dull moment! The acting is great too and there is a lot of attention to details. Trust me watch it and you will get it. Sometimes shows leave me questioning few things especially when having a complex plot and theme such as the one of this show, and yet they made it work.

For anyone wondering about the romance part (I add this cuz Id personally want to know) - there is just the right amount, but its more focused on the time loop and solving of the mystery rather than the romantic side. Its well balanced in my opinion, SPOILER ALERT (kinda), the protagonists show affection and closeness from early on which is understandable given the situation they are in, but it's not the focus - which in my opinion fits the show best.

At the end, I love how they gave us full closure for all the passengers in the bus! Nice detail which surprisingly enough you wont find often in other shows.

Compelling story that makes fun of typical tropes!

Watch it, watch it, watch it. I'll few tropes that this drama has in case anyone is wondering - and it kinda is a spoiler so you've been warned!

There is no love triangle, there is the stereotypical memory loss at the end which is expected but the way they went about it was so well executed that you can't really complain and yes it's an happy ending, you might get second lead syndrome for a bit (I personally still rooted for the main couple though ehehe).

Many complain that the fl behaves at the beginning is awful but the whole point of the drama is that she goes against those stereotypes so imo I dont mind but take that as you will ?‍♀️

Like everyone else says you might want to push yourself to continue based on the first episodes but is WORTH IT!

The acting in my opinion was great, it felt natural. The music was also really spot on, hence why i put 10.

Classic jdrama with a couple more comfortable around one another!!

To be very honest this was like every other classic jdrama. Plot wise *spoilers ahead* there is the usual breakup scene in the second to last episode ?. BUT!!!! The one upper this drama has is that we see the couple interact a lot more than usual, and after the initial understandable awkwardness they seem really comfortable around each other, based on how they talk and interact with one another (kissing too was really natural). Thats why i didnt mind the breakup scene (unlike usual), plus it wasnt even dragged for too long so whatever. There is also the typical running into each other scene when they get back together ahah but oh well.

Also many are complaining that there is no plot, but there is and it's simply the two protagonists falling for each other and dating. Apart from the unnecessary breakup scene there is little to no drama (the breakup is very short lived basically).

So all in all give it a try and don't mind the "low" score it has.

sweet love story

I really enjoyed this drama! I can understand why people might not like it as much but I think it depends on what you look for in a specific drama. The protagonists here are so cute together, they rely on each other and communicate their feelings - and that's all I ask for, that's why I enjoyed it so much. It doesn't focus on trying to be an uplifting story about loving yourself, it's just about two people loving each other for who they really are (and that's even more uplifting honestly). It was refreshing to see a plus-sized actress play the female lead. Like others, I didn't like the negative people around her who seemed mostly jealous that a person they consider ugly could find love before them, but that's how reality is - especially in a society like Japan's where skinny = beauty.

Now in terms of kissing and whatnot (I add this cuz I would personally want to know) - there aren't many kisses but at least they didn't feel awkward since they wouldn't be too long (you know how dramas sometimes have a whole minute of two people kissing and the girl has that shocked look on her face - that's not the case here thankfully ahahah)

I never rewatch dramas, but since their relationship was so wholesome and fresh, I will probably watch it again soon.

Lastly, take my review with a grain of salt. My interpretation of the story might vary from yours but hey I hope that what I wrote might at least entice you to give this drama a try.
