THIS IS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT! Finally a BL with a K-drama structure, a strong plot, and real thrills. I’m so excited and have high hopes for this one!
This was one of the best and most perfect thriller-psycholofical K-drama I've ever seen. It's messy and beautiful, full of psychological thrills that keep you tense and raw. The writing, characters, and metaphors are flawless; the pig imagery is absurd but somehow unbearably human, folding ordinary moments into something haunting. I can't believe I waited this long to watch this masterpiece.
Personally, I think it’s BL — the same creator and director made “More Than Words,” and there you can clearly tell it’s a gay series. Also, because this new show is on Netflix, they tone things down a bit and keep some elements more under the radar. Beyond that, you don’t have to show a romantic couple physically to understand they’re soulmates; the love between them can be obvious without explicit displays. If you truly grasp what love is between two people, it doesn’t matter whether it’s homosexual or not. I wouldn’t call it queerbaiting — the show makes the bond clear, even if they don’t show physical affection like touching on screen.
Mouse kept me hooked with its wild twists and killer acting—everyone nailed their roles, and the core story about psychos and revenge is super intriguing. That said, it got complicated fast, and I wish they'd explained things clearer without dumbing it down. At 20 episodes, it felt way longer than my usual sweet spot (I can binge 16-20 eps easy, but this one exhausted me toward the end). The special episode? Hands down the best—such a perfect payoff. Why not weave it into the main run and trim to 18 eps? Still, solid watch overall if you like mind-bendy K-dramas.
Since 2022, I’ve been waiting for a series that is similar to Bad Buddy in genre, and I didn’t find one until I started Head 2 Head. This series is exactly to my taste.
what a wild ride this drama was!! it started as 'friends to lovers,' takes a sharp detour into 'enemies to lovers,' and then flips back again—talk about relationship rollercoasters! The show might take its sweet time warming up, but stick around because episode 8 brings an epic genre twist that totally pays off.
Honestly, I skipped through most of the scenes, but Kim Ji-eun/Kim Ji-hun’s character was the only one I cared about — she’s the only reason I kept watching
Park Yoon Ho delivered an outstanding performance. While I’d rate the series an 8/10 overall, his acting truly stood out and made it worthwhile and his character was by far my favorite.
