The story was fine with some cliche, but the highlight of this drama is definitely the choice of the cast. If this werent acted by suzuki ryohei-erika toda-and THE MATSUKEN maybe it wont be as good. Overall I enjoy this, been awhile since the last time I got hooked of crime genre.
i think its quite a solid drama and suits the "japanese drama style" very well. tbh im on watcher block and couldnt finish any drama for awhile but i watch all of the episode only in 1 day. matsushita nao is truly one great actreess indeed.
the core of the cause for the crime itself is 'very japan-like' and i could understand if it doesnt met everyone's standard. but the production is great i can feel the thrill on every scene.
this isn't bad at all. well its definitely not the best drama you could find, but i enjoyed watching this. the kind of drama you could watch without having too much thought.
i really like the manga and had no expectation at all when the adapted story was announced. never been so wrong in my life, this drama is lit 🔥🔥🔥 wish they could continue produce every story with such superb consistency 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I read the novel first then watch this and I gotta say this is one bad adaption. Such a waste talent of Mamiya. And I hate to say this but they should not cast Sato Jiro except for comedy genre. His act ruins it even more.
idk but i feel everything in this film (dialogue, scene, etc) was trying too hard to become a good one, it became dull. every dialogue isn't somehing new, i've heard of them million times in other films. the story is meh, especially i cant even understand in which scene of masami that makes sakaken fell in love with her. the only 2 good things of this movie is masami's grown up son was acted by okudaira (finally we can heal from 'mother') and the cast are superb (all of them). that's all.
i was an avid fan of the manga and it's only 1 episode but i can assure you guys this is far more much better than the movie. the 2 main lead of the movie was a trash, tbh. tsubasa honda's act was awful (so does her hairstyle as futaba) and higashityama was too old to act as kou (not to mention his real asshole self in RL). THIS DRAMA IS SO GREAT THE AMBIENCE IS PERFECT AND SO DOES THE CAST. of course they'd have to adjust some story to fit as drama but so far i can tolerate this.
the last episode is disappointing. out of all these brilliant cast and thrilling episodes, yet making that kind of reason for the kidnapping is ridiculous.
