Thank you for putting into words of what I've also been feeling towards TY's character in the drama vs the novel. In the novel, he's almost like no-strings-attached besides SY and then YH, but to see drama's TY having to juggle so many obligations of being a dragon leader that looks out for his people and the weak and now figuring out his own feelings and heavy obligations towards YH, there's that gray complexity that the novel writer is probably wanting to explore more through this drama than the more b&w portrayal of TY in her novel when she wrote it when she was younger.
