not sure why the all fuss about ending, as long as no main character is dead I consider it happy. besides, this new age story telling that looks like bunch of tick toks put together is something that audiences demands, when we have slow burn and character development people also complain 😑
wow. so much has happened. emotional roller-coaster. I dropped it at some point, picked it up and best decision this year. the best of this show is last 5 episodes. love everything about it.
What the f just happened? So many wholes in this story. So if he is a son of his grandfather, who is his mother and why doesn't he ever try to answer this question? And how did he end up abandoned and raised by poor fisherman in the first place?
Omg I expected big revelation of this mysterious figure and great mastermind behind rebelios prince hahahhah what happened to that in the end? Seemed as if that accessories seller was also part of their plan but in the end wtf..
Sad ending, not open unfortunately. Too many slow mo`s, wind in confined spaces, crying scenes and humor in moments are not quite suitable. Cinematography is out of this world, as well as costume and photography. Color scheme just done right. Storyline quite so... Either way, we've seen this all in The story of Yanxi palace once before.
