finally finished all eps! couldnt argue with the visuals definitely a 11/10. but the story couldve been developed…
yeah Iād agree. I really loved this drama and talked about it a lot with my friends as well and I think a major part of me really liking this story comes from me finding the politics and every character including the side characters super interesting (as an example qinqin and qimin or wei yan). Some friends of mine enjoyed it a bit less because if you really watch it mainly for the romance it does lack a bit on that part.
I think a part of the romance lacking a bit was also cause the main leads were often separated and had a lot of missions they didnāt do together. Especially later on in the drama.
yesss mandi died and the new guy that joined the squad is the grandson of changyus old neighbor kang san. She mentioned short that she had a grandson that had to go to war and later on the pig butcher squad found him and he joined them to avenge the people from Lin an.
I normally donāt comment, but I have to say this. First of all, I felt really sad for Theo like I literally shed a tear for him. But honestly, what Sian told him was the right thing. He isnāt one of her top candidates, and she knew it would hurt him but the truth had to be said. I mean, she cried herself because of it, so I donāt see how sheās in the wrong. ( Iām not a fan of her either but some hate is a bit unnecessary) She obviously sadly couldnāt develop feelings for Theo, even though he is quite literally perfect imo
As for Jiyeon and Taehwan, Iām starting to understand why Jiyeon isnāt as interested in Taehwan anymore. I think it wouldāve been better for her to address the situation directly. I know Taehwan is a grown man, but I just feel like heās socially awkward, I donāt know. I wouldāve loved to hear his perspective. I do get why Jiyeon wants to move on, though, because he doesnāt match her values. She has higher standards, and thatās totally fine.
Also I loved minseol in this episode. She comes of very childish but as the hosts say in a cutesy way I think people in the internet judged her way to fast. She doesnāt seem as bad .
