He retaliates in the only way he has ever known. Even after the nail incident he had every right to kill her but he still couldn't do it. His love for her is obsessive and insane. Although the drama doesn't portray that, in the novel, it's very clear. He basically wants to eliminate everything around her so that she could see that only he could give her things. It's twisted and messed up but I guess when you have an evil primordial spirit living inside you, that's what you get.

Partly due to jealousy and partly due to feeling betrayed. When YXW tries to drug him to fall asleep, YBC changed the drug to poison. So TTJ thinks that YXW tried to kill him so he is wary. It's all a big mess.

Exactly! YBC did some underhanded things that caused both TTJ and YXW to completely misunderstand each other. YXW figures it out later on, but by that time it's already too late. However YBC pays for it in the end.

Both very good dramas. And The Glory. Even though it was her revenge and well warranted, she was focused and brutal and I loved it.

I'm so ready for the immortal arc. I both dread and look forward to next week's episodes. Gah....I hope they do the end of the drama justice. They suffer so much throughout the drama that they deserve a proper happy ending. I know the novel ends super happy but I want to see it on screen.

no....only 53 originally. We are only losing about 2 hours worth of what would have originally aired. So like 3 episodes.

The novel has a happy ending, but you know how C-ent is. I have heard all sorts of rumors of happy, sad, and open ending so who knows. I'm with you...I'll be very upset if we don't get the happy ending. They go through so much pain and loss throughout the whole story that by the end, they deserve a happy peaceful life.

I think she's saying from TTJ's point of view it seems that way. YXW is concerned for him because he is her brother in the future. They were always close. So of course she doesn't want anything to happen to him. TTJ doesn't know yet that she isn't the original YXW, so from his point of view it's not far fetched for him to believe that she still likes XL.

It reminds me of his role on Miss the Dragon. He was in dark clothes and it really looks good on him.

same! The tower scene is sad but I think the worst was reading about his grief afterwards. How he sobbed and felt so helpless. Ugh...I balled my eyes out. They go through so much loss throughout the story that i really hope the drama does the end justice. I love how the novel ended but I also know how Cdramas tend to like their endings either open or rushed.

I think so too. Even in the novel it was after that puppet spell that YXW changed. She became more quiet and really refused to dwell on how she felt. Deep down she did love him, but at the same time what he did was kind of the last straw. Even by the tower scene she had a small bit of hope but that was crushed and she was ready to do what she had to do. And when she returned back to the future she wanted nothing to do with him and wouldn't even allow herself to think about him until things started happening. Their relationship is so freaking complex. I know a lot of people criticize YXW for how she treats him but she also didn't understand romantic love until it was too late. They both, in the end learned how to love although the cost was high.

that's the novel plot....however who knows how the drama will change that.

omg me too! I cannot handle the angst until we see her as Li SuSu again....I think i may wait. I already know the whole story but watching it is worse than reading it.
