I agree. Honestly he doesn’t have the maturity yet to make good decisions. I understand his intentions and I don’t fault him for his actions so far. Do I agree with what he has done? Absolutely not. But let’s not forget that he is missing a lot of information that we as an audience have. It was hard to watch his destruction of Ningyuan and even worse for him to kill A’Yin. However her death is necessary for her to be the Phoenix Queen…her true self. And all of her terrible experiences will help her grow to be an exceptional and fair monarch in the future. As for Yuan Qi I look forward to watching him reverse roles and have to work for forgiveness from Feng Yin. He will grow and later she will understand what he truly sacrificed for her. I think it’s ok that people are angry with him right now but don’t write him off yet!

I think it’s open to interpretation. It’s literally the exact way Mirror Twin Cities ended. As a novel reader I see it as a reunion since they married and had children. But, like I said, it’s open to interpretation since it deviated from the novel.

Satisfying enough. If you watched Mirror Twin Cities then you will understand. It ends in almost the exact same way but different settings.
