I don't really think she stopped loving him. I think she more or less loves herself enough to move on because she understood that TY only thought of his revenge and used her without care or thought about her life and the danger he brought her. This is why I think today's episodes were important. He understood that what she wanted was just a peaceful life and he is the reason she was harmed and in the situation she is in now. I like that he faces up to that and is willing to give her space because of it. He also feels remorse and now wants to protect her. I think ep 24 will be a huge step in earning her trust again when he chooses to trust and protect her despite how bad it looks for her. I look forward to Friday's episode!!

Me too!! I loved Run Yu and I didn't blame him. He went through some crappy stuff so I don't blame him. I disliked how he kept the main cp apart by force but I loved him....plus I always love LYX!

that's annoying but what made me really hate him was what he said to TY and then he acts like TY was in the wrong! And then his sob story to gain YH's sympathy....no....just no. I lost all respect and any amount of like for his character at that moment!

i agree. She may understand why he did what he did and she may know that she loves him still, but that doesn't mean her anger is gone. She has a right to feel that anger and work through her feelings to build that trust again. And he needs to learn to communicate with her lol. But I do love that he isn't pushy and trying to force her forgiveness. He's willing to let her go just for her happiness. I love seeing a couple being non toxic and forceful for once. He does his best to respect her wishes, unlike BXS....gah. I loved his character in the beginning but now he is just straight up obnoxious and selfish.

I have to absolutely agree with your assessment. She fell in love with the devil god even when he was at his worst and wanted to protect him but couldn't. I still remember the TTJ that said Ming Ye was stupid to give up his god powers for a woman and in the end did just that for the woman he loves most in his life. The end was perfect for me and even the directors stated that just because his physical body died doesn't mean that his immortal spirit is gone. The end, in my opinion, is showing how his spirit is slowly "healing" if you will and he will return. LSS has to wait and walk the same lonely road that TTJ did except she has her daughter and they are waiting for him.

definitely not. I mean I would love to see a whole season dedicated to her searching for him and finding him again in the mortal world like in the novel but I think they told the story that they wanted to. So that's it unfortunately.

agreed! I could rewatch this drama a hundred times and never get tired of it.

Also....the drama failed to show due to cut scenes that all distress way was changed to bring life back when he died. All people who died were brought back to life. His soul was also a part of that. In the novel he was reborn because of that very reason. So I understood the end to mean that his soul is repairing itself in the scale.

We don't know yet because he is not in the novel. This is a new character made for the drama.

what they don't show is that after he died, he used the last bit of his power to bring all the people who died or were harmed from the all distress way back to life. His soul was also "swallowed" by it and indeed pieced back together after 1000 years.

the drama was a bit different. However i think bc of the episode restraint, they cut out an important part that was in the leaked script. TTJ's sacrifice turned the all in distress way into the way of compassion which was how he was able to bring all the dead back to life that had died from it. His soul was also sucked in which was why he could return. I wish they didn't cut that part out.

This was exactly what I thought as well. Also the novel explains that All distress way turned into the way of compassion. Because he died in the way of compassion his soul was able to slowly piece together and return after 1000 years. This is why all the dead were able to return to life. When I saw his physical body, I understood it to mean that his soul was slowly nourishing within the scale.
