Can anyone share if the place mentioned in this drama - Eastern Country, Uglai City is based/referenced on an actual place? (Just started this show, and in comparison, fairly new to C-dramas, so thought to ask even though the disclaimer says its not)
I have not started this drama (waiting for more episodes to air before I do), but was going through the comments.…
Yes, and ignore my first comment. I misread "I disliked the actor who played Benjamin in Love Song in winter, and here I am gushing over Benjamin"
For some reason I though Love Song in Winter is part of this series, and Benjamin character is common (cross-over) and that the actor was bad in that drama, but good here.
I think you mean character of same name were badly done by another actor in LSIW. But another actor in this drama who's his namesake is doing well and hence you are gushing over.
I watched all six episodes, and I am now a fan of Benjamin. I disliked the actor who played Benjamin in Love Song…

Is the character of Benjamin there in any other story/drama which is part of the parent story - Love On? I could infer that from your comment, but just checking in.
Nope, his uncle is the main character in another webtoon called Hanlim Gym. His name is Yungha jeon
Oh damn - then I guess if the drama follows suit, and is aiming for a second season, we would not know who the uncle is. Or maybe it will be showcased in the eps towards the end.
@FTCU - would you also know how much of the webtoon has been covered in the drama so far? Like is it 1-to-1 or more has been covered in drama?
Just keep in mind that Hwang Min Hyun doesn't get out of the military until the end of 2025. So any season 2 no…
Yes - this was another fact that I had on my mind. His discharge date is almost the end of this year, so any season in same storyline would be a long time due. Hence, hoping this season would be complete in its own.
But I read a bit further on Fandom wiki - looks like this story is part of a larger universe. So maybe if its going well they could probably create any spin-off series.
There’s no official news yet on if they’ll adapt the whole webtoon or do more seasons. Since the webtoon has…
Thanks Chae - I actually went ahead and read a lot of stuff on Fandom Wiki, and by the looks of it - it seems like we will have multiple season (I am sensing something like Weak Class Hero).
Given the webtoon is divided into multiple parts + the drama is 10 eps only - anyone knows if it is fully getting adapted, or will there be more seasons?
I wonder who the UNCLE is? The way they are not reveling his face is making me wonder if he serves as a bigger role than just his mentor. I just read Fandom Wiki and got a bit more information about his character as his maternal uncle.
Probably because he has served as a mentor in Brave Citizen and Reborn Rich - I feel the role could be played by "Park Hyuk Kwon". Anyone knows who it could the actor be?
I'm of the same mind. Some of what I've found is that there is so much time in between seasons (in kdrama land)…
I think with rise of OTT platforms - even American shows have a longer time period inbetween. I remember the time when you had a short wait time for shows like One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, BBT etc. But now the wait is longer - am currently watching FROM, Severance, The Boys and the wait is killing me (T_T). I mean I'll still watch it but then the wait makes me lose the momentum that was built.
But then I know it is one of the strategies to remain relevant, and have more subsciptions as people will wait and watch their favorite shows no matter how much time it takes. I just wish this formula is not widely used in Asian dramas, given one of the major factor why I gravitate towards Asian entertainment over Western shows is the fact that they provide that instant gratification. The story is complete in those 10-20 episode range, you are satisfied and you can move on to other great dramas.
Coming to "Trauma Code" - thankfully the storyline is such that it can pick up at any point of time and the adventure of our main trio can continue. If done right, it will still deliver the same magic as S1, but yes if there are major changes/long wait time - people would forget the effect S1 one had and latter seasons will have to play catch-up to build that momentum and fanbase. Not always true, but a probability. Given that the makers are saying they had thought out this series to be a multi-season one, I hope they deliver it quickly so that excitement does not break - maybe release it in 6 month cycles.
Let's see how it pans out - I am still in the good hangover of this show - which will last pretty long! :)
Wth wrong with that hair style ..they did wrong with her beauty
ummm - she looks cute to me. And she's had similar hairstyle before too in Secret Life of My Secretary. Rest yeah she's had a pull back (Queen-roles) or side-swept hairstyle.
I LOVE THIS SHOW - but I am also skeptical when series are stretched out to multiple seasons. More shows falter in latter seasons than those that are able to keep the momentum and excitement like first season.
So I really hope 2 and 3 seasons do justice and are as entertaining as Season 1. Cant wait to see what the main leads get upto in the new seasons!
Thanks!

Sorry - my bad :D

@Cora - would you have any links handy, where I can read the webnovel?

But still wondering who the actor playing the role is and why the face is not revealed?

Can't wait for this drama to air and watch her and SKJ!
also happy ending - or tragic?
