Happy Birthday, Sugino Yosuke - one of my favorite Asian actors!
From doing high-school roles in supporting - to owning shows like Koi Desu and Barakamon, he's such a delight to watch - so handsome and talented! ❤️❤️❤️

I was already in love with Sugino (how can he be so handsome and talented) - but this role makes me love him even more. Plus, the other characters in the show bring about their own quirks and we learn so much while watching them all together. I am a city girl - but if there is a village like this, even I want to go there ..

P.S. Today - 18th is his birthday as well - and as he is not so active on social media, I cannot wait for the new episodes to see more of him!

A little shocked at the sudden news - but it is not surprising.
Given how he has been working and headed - it would have been difficult keeping up with the activities of the group.

Wishing both the best - will continue to enjoy Rowoon's and SF9's works, as always - whenever they come by! ❤️❤️❤️

I love this drama so much - just 9 episodes out, I ended up watching and rewatching them in span of two days! So, so wholesome - that I cannot get enough of it.

Definitely one of my top dramas of 2023- and it already a 10/10 for me and on my highly recommended lists! 🎉

Still to early to say anything, but this drama is shaping up very well!

Haha - no wonder Rowoon is perfect to play this almost tsundere character of Sin-Yu. I mean have already seen him do the goofy/puppy like acting but the cold demeanor too he is pulling off quite well.

Can't wait to see how this drama shapes up - it really is building up quite well 💖

Shin Hye Sun - is one of my favorite actresses and I have seen her since her days of supporting cast members to now rocking in lead roles. So happy to see her the recognition she deserves.

Lee Jun Young - in my humble opinion is one of those few idol-turned-actors who have played diverse roles and showcases their talent! He is still not an household name when it comes to top K-actors but I am always cheering on for him - like it happened for Hye Sun, am sure it will be for him too!

Also the trailer shows that Cha Chung Hwa is also in it, She has already been with Hye Sun in Mr Queen and See you in my 19th Life - and I love them on-screen together!

Really excited for this movie - simply because these three in the cast line-up along with the exciting story line! 💖

The potion logic seems understandable - I feel all four men have had a sip of that potion, and it enhanced their feelings that they already had.
1) Sin Yu - was attracted to Hong Ju and hence acting on it
2) The Garden Guy - he said she looks like his late wife, and so his feelings got heightened but is becoming borderline stalkerish. Maybe he will be a character who will try to harm Hong-Ju and then our valiant ML and SML will help her - but that will make FL realise who she likes more?
3) The Onju City Manager - I think he drank and his feelings for Ms Ma got enhanced, and while he has been quietly admiring her for 21 years, the potion has given him courage to be more forthcoming.
4) I feel SML also had a sip, like it is quite possible for him to have had a sip from the same glass earlier in the meeting - and none of them noticed as such as they were engrossed in the meeting, can happen!
So maybe that is why even he has liked Hong Ju but had his own personal conflicts, but the potion again makes him act differently.

The last one could be not true - and the SML is actually taking a lead cause he feels he should come out of his shell, especially when Hong Ju is geniune and trying so hard. I for one don't hate him at all - and am loving every bit of this chase and love triangle. I like the actor too - having seen him in one of my favorite dramas, Missing: The Other Side - so its wonderful to see him here as one of the main cast!

Hahaha I think so - kind of makes you anticipate the next episode then.
Like they make you angry and wanting more in odd episodes, but then pacify you with the lovely even episodes next day. Both the times they keep you hooked using our own emotions!

Guess that's what makes them good directors/writers and cast!

when I saw the episode I could not immediately recall who that guy was. But another MDL-er helped and now am more furious.

One thing to go behind Sin yu's back but it made it worse cause it is the guy he completely detests. That guy definitely uses woman and was trying to use the mayor and even in the earlier law firm using his money to make Sin yu bow down to him along with his colleagues.

Hope this cheating is revealed soon - and she gets slapped double times she inflicted on Hong Jo.

I am so glad that the SML is actively pursuing her now - though I know I will be biased towards the main leads. They are so cute and I think both are swayed in their own way.

Guess there is no spell and it was just a way of bringing two people together who are destined to be so, given they could have been separated due to their situation or evil plans of someone.

Can't wait to see what is in store!

Regarding the Cursed Red Hand:
I am guessing - in the past Hong Jo was either related or an apprentice of the spell-book writer, Aeng-Cho who was killed by Sin-yu's ancestor.

I am guessing past life Hong-Jo and Sin-yu were in love, but then someone lay a seed of doubt in Sin-yu's mind that he is under the spell of the Aeng-Cho, so he kills her. Either she or Hong-Jo in her distraught state - curses him and his family.

Now reincarnated - the curse has come to present day Sin Yu, and the red hand is of Aeng Cho. To make things right, the wooden box and spell-book landed in Hong-Jo's hand cause only she has the power to break the curse of her master/or herself (depending who cast the curse) and rekindle her destined love with Sin-yu.

Maybe this is why since he is close to Hong-Jo, since then the red hand disappeared as his feelings grew for her. Cause maybe even the evil spirit still likes Hong-Jo (cause they are relatives or a dear apprentice like family of past life).

Also - I did not understand that if Sin-yu's ancestor killed the past shamam then why are they protecting the shrine? Maybe it is penance.

6 - it is still not very active pursuit, but yes, definitely there. I guess his feelings surfaced since Sin Yu has also declared his love for Hong Ju. Men being jealous and petty - love it! 😂😂😂

8 - if the manager drank the rest of the potion, then he should be in love with Hong Jo - but he's clearly in love with Ms Ma! I really hope they end up together.

But then she was killed by the ancestors of Sin Yu's family so that cannot be right. Maybe just a shamam in the family.
