Just saw the cast... what is happening? They changed one of the main characters just like that. The story began…
No one really knows, but they're just announcing it as "since Jungha's enlisted, and production couldn't possibly wait any longer, they will recast Bongseok and proceed." As if there wasn't any discussion (namoo messed up big time) prior to Jungha's enlistment when season 1 happened 3 years ago. Other people are taking it easy since there are bigger names and senior actors involved, but the younger actors dynamic is also an important part of the story.
Hes 28 years old . I thought he was younger. According to google South Korean men must enlist by or before they…
There are other 97-liners that are yet to-enlist this year, even if Jungha is an early 98-liner, he definitely could try to postpone his enlistment to next year. But, maybe, his agency just messed up and couldn't get a confirmation for his role or production timeline earlier to submit the postponement. Like, I doubt, it'll take that long to film his parts since there are more characters involved.
It looks like a case of bad timing and mismanagement. A big production like this don't take one night, there must have been plenty discussion happening since last year. Also, Jungha is a 98-liner, if both agency and production team had manage and plan things well, the agency could try to postpone his enlistment for another year. With so many actors and characters, Bongseok's story and screen time might not even be that much and he could finished filming his part well then enlist. I'm too attached to Jungha's Bongseok and have been looking forward to the Kim's family reunion, so this recast is making me feel off.
I hope some fans' suspicion of foul play behind the scene isn't true because it isn't like Jungha's under some new unknown agency (he's signed to namoo actors!).
He did a reaction/commentary video for this, you can see his passion and creative process while making the short movie/VCR: https://youtu.be/g81ZoMRkV1E
Watching it through Netflix. The translation is a bit off.
Yeah, I miss the older dramas subtitle types. Netflix are dumbing down their subs for easy understanding to a wider audiences, but the subtle nuances are gone.
The ML was always there waiting for the FL and forgiving all of her weird shit. His feelings didn't waver even…
If you meant the one in the car when she was pretending to be asleep, he actually backed away at the last moment, but she seemed to have felt he came near and nudged him asking for the kiss with her puckered lips.
Is this really coming out in june? Didn't they just have the wrap up dinner a few days ago? I thought it was coming…
They’ve been filming since last year, so they’ve probably finished up the earlier episodes and since it’ll be released weekly, they’d could maybe do the editing as they come out.
After watching so many promotional contents from BOD and re-watching his Youtube videos, I gathered his real life personality is as amazing as how he's been presenting himself on cameras. He doesn't come to many variety shows, but it's obvious that he's good friends with various people in the singing and acting field. Also, after Death's Game and BOD, two dramas with a star-studded cast, seems like directors/producers trusted him and his abilities so well to be the lead.
As a long time fan, I wish him more success with his upcoming works!
It was very clever whole way through. It was very good with a great cast. Doesn’t seem like it needs a part…
This was filmed consecutively with the intention to put out as one release and only later decided to break into two parts, released less than a month apart. It's not an added story after the success of the first part.
I was just looking up the director's past works, since I've only watched Work Later, Drink Now by him and realizes he must have a great personality seeing the guesting/cameos he casted were leads from his previous works, i.e. Ong Seungwoo, Kim Youngdae, Lee Sangyi, Siwon.
Should I watch this? I’m here after Boyfriend On Demand! I want more of him!
It's the complete opposite of BOD, but Inguk's performance was amazing. If you're in the mood of something lighter, I'd recommend Reply 1997, Shopping King Louis or Doom at Your Service.
This turns out to be a lot better than I had expected. It's light, fun, yet still conveys real messages with real issues re: dating and relationships. They don't try too hard and make things overly complicated for the sake of drama, things move slow yet steadily. The delivery stays true to its romcom core. Also, Jisoo's acting is fine.
Their dating era is so sweet, so short! In a better world, we could have 2 more episodes just to see them progressing in their relationship.
My only gripe would be Inguk's minimal screentime on the first half of the show, but then again the plot has always been about Mirae so I should have expected it.
I think SIG is still filming See You at Work Tomorrow, but news said this one will be coming out in late 2026? Looks like the schedule's gonna be very packed. Either way, so looking forward to three SIG dramas this year.
I'm only on episode 4, but would like to know how often will Hojin simplified his interpretation and not delivering the actual message on the whole filming trip? He's also adding his own words that weren't actually said. It gave me an icky feeling because that's rather unethical and unprofessional of him.
I hope some fans' suspicion of foul play behind the scene isn't true because it isn't like Jungha's under some new unknown agency (he's signed to namoo actors!).
