Engrossing entertainment

This series is free currently (March 2024) on Dailymotion with EngSub.
It's BL but mixed with drama, humour and music. It's very entertaining and was very easy to get hooked on from Ep 1.
The story is there to provide a vehicle for the relationships, comedy and music. The characters are interesting and likeable.
The settings are a school football club in Bangkok and an up-country village which the boys come from. This gives the opportunity for Esaan dialect and singing. The songs are very catchy and sometimes there is dancing as well. In the last episode they sing and dance to the title song. It's obvious that the cast genuinely enjoy it. There are at least three BL couples with friendship turning to love, but the two side couples get very little time. For the side couples it's mostly kept light and fluffy with lots of teasing and smiles. What is nice is that there is a lot of hugging and sympathy among the characters. In the later episodes the two leads are often hugging believably. One is tall, the other shorter. The shorter one Ruk (played by Champ) is very masculine and cute at the same time. This combination reminded me of Pun (played by Ryu), the lead boy in You Are My King 2. Both leads are probably a few years older than their characters, which is usual, but they both have noticeable facial hair (close shaved). Even so, the acting engages your sympathy and you want the boys to have a happy ending. You are not disappointed.
