the parents storyline was much better than the kids.
i feel like the last ep was kinda rushed.
i wonder why people said it's westernized, when there wasn't anything westernized about it????

imo the plot was bad

he doesn't even remember that he has child to even love them. he has to read his freaking notes to remember.the parents are responsible for their kids with whatever disabilities they might have because they wanted to bring the kid to the world. not the other way around. kids are not responsible for their parents especially from the start. it's a kid for gods sake.people usually start to have dementia when they get older not at that age the ML got it. so there's a bond between the parents and children. sometimes they remember their family and the memories they shared together.and a lot of grown up put their parents in nursing homes because they can't take care of them and no one can't blame them cause it's hard. now how do you expect a kid to do that? this case is different imo. the father doesn't remember anything after his accident therefore there's no bond and love (you cant love someone you dont know in a span of 20 sth hrs even if they tell you they're someone close to you).overall imo what the FL did was irresponsible.

"grow into better person" at whose expense dear? the kid and their mental health.
nonetheless i still think it's traumatizing for both.

the concept of two boxer besties becoming loan sharks was great. the beginning and the 2 last episodes especially the fight scenes were great too but everything about that smile company was boring imo

watched it only based on the title, thought it's gonna be so wholesome like those family dramas that are set in market place with lovely neighbors
but damn this was intense and full of angst from the first episode to the last
the acting was great but the characters were damn annoying
hated jin woo with everything in me and hated his redemption arc more than anything. hated that seol ah forgave him and everyone was ok with him cheating for 2 years. his money definitely played a huge role but i personally would've ruined his life
the chemistry between seol ah and tae rang was something else and tae rang was a walking green flag. if chung ah and joon hwi could be together then why not them too?
joon hwi wasn't a bad character but damn he was so dense most of the time it was getting annoying
the best part was the dad's character development imo
