liked it so much miss ni ni is my favorite chinese actress as of now. she's effortlessly beautiful and she did an amazing job. i really hate people like mao . i was happy for her. she clearly deserved better.
it was ok. it just frustrated me when i considered their situation and logically thought about it. like girl when your husband have amnesia and your body's weak and pregnancy only hurts you, why did you choose to keep the baby???? she should've just aborted the mission it's just not fair on any of them tbh she simply died, left the guy who doesn't even remember what he had for dinner last night to take care of a child and because of it the kid gonna have a hard traumatizing time growing up
what is the difference between wuxia and xianxia drama?
im new to this so im not really familiar with the differences that much. this is what i found on google. hope it helps.
Wuxia (武俠 wǔxiá) – literally means “Martial Heroes”. Fictional stories about regular humans who can achieve supernatural fighting ability through Chinese martial arts training and internal energy cultivation. Themes of chivalry, tragedy, revenge & romance are common.
Xianxia (仙侠 xiānxiá) – literally means “Immortal Heroes”. Fictional stories featuring magic, demons, ghosts, immortals, and a great deal of Chinese folklore/mythology. Protagonists (usually) attempt to cultivate to Immortality, seeking eternal life and the pinnacle of strength. Heavily inspired by Daoism.
my first wuxia xianxia drama. definitely a 10/10. from the opening of the first ep to the very last second of the ending i was in awe. this is the most unique, aesthetic, eye pleasing and satisfying drama ive ever watched. im in love, it has everything i love. interesting plot, beautiful ost, aesthetic opening and ending, great characters and talented beautiful actors. chang heng was the best SML in the SML history. i tried so hard to hate him but to no avail. esther was so cute and lovely even though her voice was a little annoying but i got used to it. dylan wang served with that tsundere daddy alpha role lol i was weak in my knees when i saw him with white hair purrrr the cgi team, set design team, custom and makeup team slayed.
intense and crazy. it had everything i love. a crazy girl living a meaningless life mindlessly and fearlessly. unconventional hot looking guys with tattoos and piercings that were softies but also hiding something dark and twisted. i really wanted all three to be in a poly relationship but well... sad that it ended the way it did
wtf did i just watch??? it was supposed to be a psychological mystery horror movie but it was a boring unfinished comedy. how am i supposed to take this seriously with that "genesis and gang" part lmfaooo wtf was that, comic relief??? lol the start was good but damn the ending was one of the worst thing ive ever seen. there are so many things left unanswered... oh and that "dessert" group reminded me of newjeans lol
the "it girl" of japanese cinema. strong plot, great acting, stunning visuals and vivid colorful aesthetic cinematography. everything about it was perfect. it made erika my favorite actress.
helter skelter ran so "the substance" could walk. helter skelter will always remain iconic.
the concept was great and it had a potential to be better drama, but after a few first great episodes it went downhill. it became so slow paced and dragging for me i had to put it on hold for a long time. every single character was annoying especially na juhee. she was so boring. oh yeojin was more interesting character than her. i felt no chemistry between the leads. it felt forced. in fact i think it would have been a better drama if there was no romance at all. i was not satisfied with the ending like i didn't sit through all that, for everything to end up being all sunshine and rainbow.
you should mind ur own business and stfu more steve and please google "personal opinion" and learn something and stop bothering people just because you were pressed about a personal opinion that was made a year ago about a boring ass movie
i watched this without reading the synopsis or the tags so i didn't know it was based on a true story and it's basically a documentary. i wasn't in the mood to watch a documentary so ngl those parts bored me out. but the movie parts were good. war is the truly the most tragic and the cruelest thing ever.
and i really liked it
it was a fun watch

it had everything i love: enemies to lovers, tension (it was crazy) and cute height difference
