Unfortunate then. It doesn't do it well, it comes off as a weak attempt. Realistically no one's going to be as dumb as the majority of characters in this drama. Selfishness is a given, but not intelligence this low.

Not thanks to me, I actually downloaded the episodes and subtitles from the subber. But a lot of casual watchers don't even know where to find it, or they have very slow download speeds and just like to watch on websites instead. You can't blame them.

Only a third of the way done, but they really need to focus on the zombies more. I don't care about the half assed attempts at social commentary.

Very ambitious drama from Apple TV, not the usual kdrama. Very well written and acted throughout, and top notch production as well. The only thing I felt held it back was the pacing. It just felt a bit too slow most of the time. 8/10

Do they get paid if someone watches it on their website? No. So I don't see why it's such a big issue.

The UK, nothing gets censored to the point of cancelling a whole show.

Also, this was cancelled not due to history being distorted but because they wanted more excuses to get it cancelled because of the conflicts between China and Korea's culture. I can't be bothered to go into detail because there's just no point anymore, but it was exaggerated (I read up on everything and watched the drama)

Is this worth watching if I'm not really interested in the romance aspect? (also not for the FL, idk kpop)

This was arguably too realistic for its own good. It's too... stale and boring.

Worst part is, there's pretty much nothing else like it :/ Aside from Kingdom and the guest, which the latter is still very different.

Yeah as missjb said, that wasn't the intention of the show. They weren't arguing about who did the murder in court, they were arguing over why hyun soo is guilty or innocent. It was never about the whole case.

I don't think I can name a single flaw in this show. The acting, writing and story were perfect. The ending just shows the cruel reality of law and how they deal with, or don't deal with their mess. Solid 9.5 or 10.

Yeah true, but you'd expect higher from something this popular globally, especially considering the shows higher rated.

Most sites, it's just that the majority of asian drama websites has a very similar crowd so you've gotta expect the same kind of dramas to be rated high everywhere, and imdb is the biggest show rating site in english so it's gonna be pretty normie and standard. Popular = high rating. There's nothing even wrong with that, I just happen to have different taste to the majority of kdrama watchers, so I disagree with the majority of the ratings here.

imdb is one of the worst sites for ratings out there bruh

Thanks, never actually watched a BL so I don't know what they're normally like with this kind of genre, maybe I'll check out the other instead.
