Seemed like a massive overreaction to me, they're really sensitive over there.
The history wasn't distorted other than the fact that it's a drama about demons/zombies existing. I didn't see any problems that they'd have from that aspect. Nothing that a character did in the show was "evil".
It is a slow burn though, boring is just down to the person.
I agree, I'm just saying that it is a slow burn. Some like them, some don't. I've seen 6 episodes of beyond evil so far and I do think the pacing was off for episode 6 especially. They stretched 10 minutes of content as far as they possibly could to make it an hour long episode.

But in context of the drama, it's clearly an overreaction. One of their main complaints was how the king was portrayed as "evil" and did things he didn't do in history. The thing is, in the drama he was literally losing his mind due to demon people killing everyone. So of course this didn't happen. They didn't try to say it did either. That's just one of many examples.
