A young girl in early menopause and her terminally ill ex-boyfriend.
He kidnaps his ex-girlfriend who is about to get married and drags her with him in search of his biological father.
But couldn't he have gone alone, I wonder?
What was the need to ruin her life, knowing that he will die soon?
Arguments, violence and mistreatment of this poor friend/companion (what a shitty role he has), the bodyguard specially brought back from America who practically doesn't say a word. This poor betrothed who chases her to save her.
In all this tragic comedy Woo Do Hwan's physique is one of the few things I would save.
From the eighth episode until the end the pace becomes slower and the story sadder.
Ups and downs of the disease that keeps getting worse, one moment he's fine, then he seems dead and the next moment everything seems ok... which makes you wonder if it will be over or he will wake up again...
Towards the end we discover the reason for the title "Mr Plankton".
In all this there are things that don't hold up: for example... The real father was the first. But taking the test when the child was little, no? The story collapses like this and makes no sense.
He abandons her by her real mother, runs away with the car, loses control and when it stops, the fiancé gets into the car (?!) or when they are on the island the criminal appears out of nowhere, alone and without henchmen in tow (?!!)...

Lively start. I love these two main protagonists. One is fantastic as a black panther model, the other "rebel way" with a naive air. Truly a beautiful pairing.
He acts superior but it's clear he cares a lot about her. He advises her, protects her from her mother's blows, meanwhile she is like a wounded, soaked puppy who wants to make it seem like she doesn't feel bad and everything is OK.
Really good tune.
But also their friends and the journalist are good characters too.
The series could have ended with the tenth episode.
First 8 episodes are more dinamic with querrel beetween the 2 old friends than the story become more "serious" with issue like cancer, divorce, rejected proposals...
Then when women push things too hard I get impatient and lower my rating. This poor boy....

Begin of 9.5 stars - end 7.5*

Great beginning. I wanted to see more and more. Funny, dinamics rhytms... I was sad that I cannot watch all the series, episodes after episodes but only 2 a week.
Choi Huyn Wook has personality and acted well in both side lifes characters. Meanwhile Mun Ka Young as a little justicer, is a "little pepper" character.
First part better than second half.
The fact that couples, that of the main actors as well as their friends, break up and then get back together several times in the long run is tiring.
The grandmother who behaves like such a bastard with this poor grandson has made me sincerely hate her.
Then I wonder what kind of people are all those who suddenly change their opinion listening to gossip and have nothing to do but gossip at work and who spread videos and photos. What bad people!
Sometimes the music is too exuberant for the situation.

edition of asleep

A different version from the first three seasons. 6 girls on Hell Island. 2 out of 5 guys, after a challenge, will be able to choose a girl to take to Heaven, at first sight without even having spoken to her.
During the program 2 more entries.
I like watching this type of TV show because you see different approaches. Someone needs a lot of time to declare their feelings, someone prefers the romantic and sweet method, others are impulsive or rude. Someone fixes his gaze on just one person, the other has to meet many... Requited loves but many other unrequited loves.
First note: is it possible that Shi An never brings a jacket with her in Paradise? Do you have a large suitcase, and when you're cold, do you always have to ask your companion to borrow something to cover yourself? If it is a towing technique it is deplorable. She gets nauseous on the helicopter and takes it every day? She could have lost a game and given another couple the chance to go to Heaven but she didn't. At first I liked her but in the end I didn't.
Second note: When one declares his love (in this case Theo) the partner feels free to trample on him and put him on standby. It pains me to see this. Instead men who cause problems and they are not nice to them are chosen?
Third note: why do women insist on wearing 12 heel shoes on an island?
As in all seasons, the commentators were excellent.
3 and a half pairs... not a bad result.

At the beginning I had high expectations, since there seemed to be a great mystery behind the death of the owner of the house and the reappearance of the ex-husband. But essentially a plot that's nothing special. I was more passionate about the couple formed by the daughter with the security man (Minho). There were cutie together but nothing extraordinary there either.
My rating rewards the cast a little otherwise I would have been lower.

bated breath, lump in throat and shining eyes

Against all expectations, 9.5 stars for keep me the breaths, for the touching musics, the slow acting to underline sads moments. I was a little scared by the slow pace but to my surprise it didn't bother me.
Don't expect an overwhelming and passionate story but rather a soft and touching story like a flower that blooms.

The character of the main woman lead was direct talking, altruistic and protective person. Meanwhile, the main man lead character was a sad person, lonely, pathetic, heavily hurts in feelings and betrayed by everyone.
Shy people who need time to grow their relationship. When the heart says one thing and the head says another.

I apreciated small gestures and I remember certain scenes:
When she wants to talk but he doesn't want to hear and vice versa. Him opening up and smiling again. He's not used to her direct ways but then he appreciates them. The gesture of sewing the button. She who protects him, comforts him and takes care of him. Being torn between what the heart feels and what the head says. Their looks. The fact that his ex dumped him at his favorite place (camping) and ruined it for him and never went back. Knowing that they love each other but give up everything for the family...

I spent half the time with wet eyes and a lump in my throat.

The last two episodes were a little too pathetic and heavy. Why did they waste more than a year to meet theirs? They love each other, the mother agrees, she and her brother have the telephone number? What did they expect, destiny?
My happy ending would be that they worked together at his uncle's campsite and the whole family gathered there, with his brother playing the guitar...

Brothers knives

I've been waiting for a long time to watch this series and I was disappointed. My feedback may not be popular, but honestly I found the plot different from what I expected, maybe more romantic, but also the cast and the script did not convince me. If I had to keep something it would be the OST.
Since it's a historical drama and I didn't like the plot, after I ended it, I did a little research. I found out that there really was a "bloody monarch" named Wang So, fourth son of King Taejo, who reigned from 949-975 in the Goryeo era and it's also true that he married his half-sister Daemok, he had many half-brothers and he certainly killed one of them, the 9th prince.
Now, I don't know how much and what else of this whole story is considered a true story and what is just fantasy, but the fact remains that I didn't like it.
This cursed throne that everyone covets, changes people for the worse and they become evil puppets.

A prison guard, he became a lawyer and eventually a parole examiner. He wants revenge for his chief who was unfairly accused and detained. He achieves this goal with the help of 2 women. Excellent alliance with Ms. Choi Hwa Ran, a character that I really liked.
I didn't know that there was such a commission that considered the release of certain prisoners. Unfortunately there too with judges who give in to corruption.
I found the case of the girl who had the child in prison particularly touching.

Conception in space

The most interesting thing was seeing what the astronauts do and how they live in the shuttle, otherwise the outline was a little disappointing.
This poor boy was sent by her girl's family on a space mission as a tourist.
What an unusual price to get the hand of a millionaire's daughter!
At the basis of this mission are experiments on eggs and studies on birth in zero gravity.
When he risks his life to complete his mission, a second story begins, the one with the commander.
I liked the OST, especially the main song "Somewhere in this Universe" by Seung Kwan.

DESTINY or COINCIDENCE, FIND THE RIGHT MOMENT

A time travel to save her idol. Go back to the past and try to change 2 things:
- the accident in the swimming pool for him who left this sport and joined this boy band to end up committing suicide
- avoid the accident that forces her into a wheelchair.

It seems impossible to fight fate.

Many times he claims his love for her but it is never the right time. They are as close as 2 magnets but there is always something that divides them.

I really like their relationship, his awkwardness was so cute while she wanted to protect him, not to mention the "umbrella moments" that were the best.
Those tears in their eyes are touching and emotional. So cute together.

The thirteenth episode was the worst and also the last 3 episodes are badder than first 12.
Certain scenes and situations left me stunned. For example when he was stabbed and he's about to fall off the cliff, nobody help him... neither she nor one of the policemen!!! Disappointing

A webtoon artist and a snowboarder. A cute and tender couple.
Too bad that even here, parents are party popper's who interfere in their children's relationships and make them unhappy.
I wonder, are all Chinese girls this childish? I hope not.
I enjoyed watching these athletes train.
A fresh and youthful series, not a masterpiece but still a pleasant watch.

Work hard for your dream!

Finally I find another series that keeps me up until 3 a.m.!
The girl who fences, the poor boy who works hard to become a great reporter, as well as their 3 friends. All great characters and actors.
In this series I rediscovered friendship, sacrifices, love, dreams and more.
There are many teachings in there: perseverance in realizing one's dreams, the support of friends in difficult situations, the sacrifice of children to repay their parents, hard work to get results, the will to fight injustices even at the cost of paying a high price, for example.
I liked "Na Hee Do", this girl who makes decisions, gives wise advice and has admirable perseverance.
I also liked "Baek Yi Jin" in the role of the unlucky boy who, when rich, finds himself poor and fights against adversity to get back on his feet. When they say "the sins of parents fall on their children".
So touching, I cried a lot.
Just a small note on the ending which remains open. Who knows if there will be a sequel?

I'll start with the PLOT: who gets married without even having met her once or at least having seen a photograph of her? They want a divorce, yes, no... A passage that I particularly remember was her clever idea to sign the contract with the imprint. There I thought they had a good idea.
CAST: no goosebumps, the faces of the protagonists are always the same, not very expressive, no chemistry, cold kisses, then his attitude of taking her rudely against her will I didn't like much his character.
OST: nothing special. Usually when I like it I look for who the singer is and add it to my playlist but it wasn't the case.

The start with the new invention of this elevator was surprising... Good OST but the plot a little less.
In short, this king wants to reunite the 5 clans at all costs and so with wars, blackmail and subterfuge, a lot of people die (including several characters I liked). Everyone looking for Fei Fan who doesn't even know if it is a man or a woman (?!) why was it so essential to find it? This girl who does everything to find these black stones and falls in love with the "enemy".
Loves, betrayals... I was very disappointed when she cheated on him.
She is as cunning as a fox especially in commercial deals, while he, the Wolf Lord in love and undoubtedly the most faithful man on the face of the Earth.
Even after he thinks she's dead or when she tells him to leave, he stays by her side and never gives up.
30 episodes was too long.

psychological drama

This series has decidedly strange and particular Plot. It makes us reflect on how toxic relationships exist and shows the perspective of those who see marriage as a pure employment contract.
With slow scenes, nude scenes and many strange situations. Half the time you ask yourself "why"... and you find yourself at high sea.
There is this obsessed control freak woman (no words) who claims to have everyone at her feet and treats them like slaves and pulls strings as if they were puppets.
She will find bread for her teeth with the new bride.
I honestly didn't understand the end. Both sad but divided? With everything they have experienced...
