You're right and I hate the rape parts of hyx too. But the love that is shown after and how moran in the second lifetime treats chu wannings and chu wannings personality is sooo beautiful that I just choose to ignore the rape part. Most important difference is that in hyx the rape is with hate and negative feelings between the characters and wanning never loved moran because of their sexual intercourse. In myatb the rape is ignored ans even depicted as an act of love .
I would have loved to see the MC hate the ML because of what he did to him and for them to know each other more before the MC declares that he's in love.
I know I need to shut down my logic when it comes to BL 😂. But still I'd like to see the minimum amount
