Guys, for those that read the novel, what do you think about the Nangong Xu and Luo Fenghua arc?
that being a shizun is a real hard and dangerous work. don't be a shizun if you're good looking and are associated with a certain type of tree. take Chu wanning, Luo Fenghua and shen qingqiu as examples.
what I understood is that: Xiao Wei loves hearts right? so when he sees Wang Sheng's pure heart which is filled with love toward his wife (Pei Rong), Xiao Wei desires it. Then, he thinks he will be satisfied if he has that love toward Pei Rong. but actually what he desired was Wang Sheng's love to be toward himself. that's why in the end when he realizes his own feelings, he gives his own hair to Wang Sheng in hope of having his love in the next life.
MY GOD, this was so good, so sad yet sooo good. take these two to woh immortality mountain right now. the actors are so good looking too. I was mesmerized with Po Xia's eyes.

no mafia vibe. so many bubbly pinky intractions from the beginning. it's like the "weak female, strong male" trope. the "Sky" guy acts too weak and spoiled like a stereotype "weak lead female character". the acting is so-so. it's a shame. I was so attracted when I read the summary. However, I'll give it some time and maybe binge watch it in the end.
August NEXT YEAR? You mean August 2022? Shooting finished wayyy back in September 2020. Why August 2022?
as much as I know the raw material is enough for censorship. you are just not allowed to add new scenes and dialog. a while back they only needed to take the script to the censorship even without any footage.
