Love Like the Galaxy is written by the same screenwriter as this drama. For me, LLtG is even better than this.…
same! Prisoner of Beauty is actually one of my favorites too, I really loved it. Thanks for the Love Like the Galaxy rec, I’ve been meaning to watch it anyway. Everyone keeps saying it’s even better, so now I’m extra excited 😂"
Everything about it just worked. The story had the right amount of ups and downs, the writing was solid, the directing was thoughtful, and the editing kept things engaging from start to finish.
The cast absolutely nailed it. You could tell they put so much care into every single character, and the chemistry between them was amazing. The humor landed, the emotional moments hit hard, and the romance never felt forced or overdone.
The plot moved at a natural pace, everything made sense, and not a single episode felt boring. Every episode had me hooked.
I've rewatched it three times already, and I'm still not tired of it. It honestly feels like a part of me now. I just wish I could find more dramas like this. ❤️
This was honestly such a terrible script. It felt like they were just forcing a bunch of tragic, dramatic events into a story that had nothing to do with them, hoping it'd make the audience cry.
If it wasn't for Churan and Ling He, I'd have dropped it pretty early on. I only stuck with it because I kept hoping the ending would somehow save it... nope. Great cast, awful execution.
The older brother and the head of the Li family were actually interesting characters. But Susu's revenge arc? It made no sense at all. They kept throwing in random "past reveals" just to make the story seem deeper and more complex, but all it did was confuse and frustrate the audience.
Really disappointing. What a waste of time... and internet. 😮💨 Churan and Ling He literally carried this drama with their acting.
