I really like the KmLM novel compared to the drama. Many did not because of the way ml " takes the ml" but believe me it is nothing compared to the way Zai Ye and Tao hua 1rst meeting. But both do the same act.both ml are kind of the same red flad who refuse to admit that they love the fl.Read both novel. Here my issue is, that I like TaoHua in novel she holds her cards to her chest and her manipulation is extremly subtile. She is not forcing the " trust me or else"" do this and you will get this" like in the drama.I extremly enjoy the multiple concubines because there are twists that are such a delight in the novel. I did find yourself loving 1 of them and felt sorry for the rest of them. In the drama the concubines lack depth sp far. I hope it will be rectify as the drama progresses. Also the behavior of some of my fav is so different.

I made the mistake to read the novel before the drama( still reading the novel i am around chapter 180).

I find it is hard to adjust to all the changes in the drama.
I by far prefer TaoHu and Zai Ye in the novel.
