this is 1 drama thay should have had 40 to 50 episodes. So many things would have had been more developed hence had more impact. The depth of the love stories would have been greater for 1.The black fox empress as well. Shi ji would have been killed and the black fox Empress take over as the main villain. I am enjoy the story and the deaths. I like that HH is sacrificing so much but still she is not winning. May be she will at the end I do not know but I like this about her story.

I like that this Xianxia is very different to the norm to be honest.

this drama is top notch. every single episode are great. I am on episode 19 and have not once been disappointed nor bored.
I would say after Nirvana in Fire, JoL is my 2nd fav wuxian chinese drama
