It is mixed of many tropes and also scenes that we have seen in dramas this year and in older dramas. For example : Hong Ye walking in dark green outfit carrying Xiao Yao on this back is very much reminiscent of the scene is Lost you forever : Ye Shiqi dresses in dark green carrying Wei Xiao on his back. the pieces of the mirror like apparently in MLM. It is like other dramas( revenge, mysteries ) all the same tropes. The drama is simple and entertaining enough for me.
Tan Songyun is a great actress and this is her first xanxia. I don’t see what accident you’re talking about…
