there is this meaty shinny ( Yuan....something not sure of the name) ...thing in the turquoise land that the hunter Tu gave to his hound. the hound ate it and it also ate a rabbit. the hound died, it's body rotted but came back to life and was now a creature that was looking like a hound and a rabbit. but was neither a hound nor a rabbit.

I wish Xing Shen did not keep information from Jiu Luo. I mean he learnt about the meat thingy from the book and how it turned the hound into a creature not a hound and not a rabbit later on.
