I remember when I was young watching running man, I used to not like JSJ much because I would compare him to YJS. But tbh I don’t even understand that why. JSJ is really awesome and he takes really good care of guests and other members too but just in his own way. Rewatching older running man episodes now, I kept catching small details like when he subtly cheer up other members but unfortunately those moments weren’t highlighted because his character is not that. Can’t believe he still hasn’t won a daesang. I thought he won last year.

This drama just takes me back to In The Class of Her Own😭 I love and miss this pairings so much!!!

I love how her old personality is coming back slowly after she met him.

Actually for this love triangle as soon as it happened, I was like I get the second male lead. Like she’s so pretty even to me as a girl.

It could’ve been better imo. Maybe I expected too much. I wish the character developments were done better. As over first half of the drama focus a lot on the sisters, it’d be great to see the sister dynamic later on but it was barely enough.

The last episode was really wholesome. The speech that he gave when he won was really touching. He gave credits to all the chefs of there and implied that he just happened to be the lucky one out of them. He deserves the win!!!

A bit of a hot take from me, CM isn’t rude. He’s just very confident and arrogant. He does show respect to other chef. However the way he talks, he just gives off kinda negative vibes that makes it hard to root for him compared to the other chefs mainly white spoons whose resume even more impressive than him that have both confident and humbleness. For example, in the latest episode, he said he didn’t care about others’ score only about himself which I was really impressed but later when Yun Brewmaster scored higher, he said he was annoyed but obviously could be because of the editing team and this is a competition show after all so he doesn’t owe anyone anything.

I really like how our female lead gets to torture the male lead back so they’re both even lol unlike most drama it’s only one sided.

I definitely agree. This is a huge difference between NM and CM also the reason why people don’t like CM compared to people rooting for NM.

Just found out on Korean twitter that on ep 9 timestamp 27:23 during the interview Cooking Monster can be seen wearing a real name name tag so it means he will be in the final (if they follow the first season rule) and chef SJW is eliminated.

Didn’t expect much because of the rating but I really enjoyed it. I love the character development of the male lead and the actor definitely did a very good job of portraying Yu Yu.

It’d be fun but chef Ahn Sung Jae as perfectionist as he is won’t pass Kim Poong😭😭😭

I’m rooting for chef Choi Kang Rok and Son Jong Won. Chef CKR is unintentionally so funny and endearing because of how awkward he is lol. Watching Chef SJW with Triple Stars Killer really shows the difference why one of them is white spoon and the other is black just as SJW said that he’s self-made instead relying on the fact that he’s worked with 3 Michelin stars restaurants.
