It's hard to describe the impact of this series. My final verdict is: after the 10th episode it becomes a lot darker, heavier, I was crying non stop in the final episode. it's much lighter in the first part. I recommend it, I think it's not only one of the best Chinese bl series of 2026, but arguably the best nature themed one too in general. Have you seen ten minute kisses while listening to flute and strings? I bet you haven't. It's a treat.
And the behind the scenes clips are worth watching, too.

Don't expect spicy scenes, but it's a very grounded, really cute perfectly good drama to watch! It's a campus plot but more serious than the usual fluffy BL lemonades.

Amazing series, it's one of the best in 2026 so far in terms of paving, plot, characters and actor performances. Plus I'm very biased towards Hou Minghao and Wang Riley, they did an amazing job, too.

If Yan An is in it, I'll definitely watch.

Recommended for lovers of campus drama genre or those who just want to drool watching Zhang Chi.

It would be such a good a slow burn story without all the lame distractions that aren't related to the story: flat side characters, boring work struggles, repeated clashes with the law and with the mafia.
I wish they'd just progress with the relationship: traumas, how to overcome them, how they help each other. I feel like that's enough to unpack without the disturbing ex boyfriend who keeps reappearing as if she ever entertained getting back to him again etc.

His features are quite unique, I know!

He has such a special face, I immediately recognized him in Ashes to Crown from Long Ballad

Amazingly well done story, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of heartfelt moments, hot but loving and beautiful scenes, romantic sunlight, an empowered FL and a passionate, kind badass ML. I'm very happy I watched this. Ye haoran was amazing and jadie complements his wildness well

Perfectly sweet awesome badass swoony hot dráma.
It mixes comedy with devotion so well. Healing for both of them. Sparks fly. There's nothing I missed!

I don't know the exact episode numbers but he declares his love very early. No real love triangle, although life events so test their love, happy ending guaranteed. It's the sweetest romance you can imagine with spicy kisses. There's a good song that accompanies the hot scenes, I still have it only playlist.

It's not well written (repetitive actions with almost no explanation till the end), but amazing actors. If you're a fan of gothic scenery and costumes or Zhou Zhengdong then you're in for a treat though.
