I had no clue what to expect from this show. I just caught up to the current episode (5), and omg ... like other people, I immediately wanted to see if other's mentioned their relationship timeline since it felt like they admitted their love to each other so quick but I really like that aspect of the plot. My theory is that they may have a deeper connection than they have showed so far (like they already showed that James once saved Ken when he was attempting to end his life... maybe this wasn't the first instance?? And the fact that Ken also tasted James' blood when he has been drinking from donor blood bags, he clearly has a taste for James). The pacing of their relationship is quick but it makes sense (like hello this man has lived 200+ years... its about time he had a passionate and ardent romance LOL). I wonder if they'll explore into why people become Nour's or maybe a flashback into Ken's first life. I'm also curious by the end if Ken will still want to die considering he found a reason to live/love.... can't wait for the next episode.
Wait also to add on ... has it been addressed as to why James can see people's auras and can distinguish when someone is a Nour? Like is this just a supernatural ability or does it have a deeper meaning in connection to Ken?
I'm here after watching episode 20 of The Early Spring and can I just say I could not stop crying. His portrayal of Sun Yuanzhu was one of the main reasons why I kept watching this drama. Despite having a smaller role, Xiao Bei's acting made his character a stand out in my opinion. The characteristics that I really loved of Sun Yuanzhu were that he was sincere and an amazing friend. Even when he was suffering, he always managed to put on a smile. At times he felt so relatable. (side note: s*icide is such a difficult topic to address but it should be highlighted to bring awareness. I'm so glad Xiao Bei was able to portray such a character with dignity).
In the post credit scenes we see He Jin stab Chen Ke … idk but this drama might have an open ending with trama…
I literally just caught it after todays episode. I never watch the end credits but today I randomly watched the whole thing and that scene had me like ?? And same the narration in the first episode made it seem like reminiscing on the past 😭I hope were wrong
I just watched this drama after seeing clips on Twitter … and damn. This was toxic, messy, dramatic and I was here for all of it lol. I do have to say that I feel bad for Daon since he went through both psychological and physical abuse. Not only did he have a rough upbringing (poor, dad always begging for money) but he also met 2 of the craziest guys ever and they were both obsessed with him. Thank goodness he met Seunghyeon … It’s just crazy he had all 3 chasing after him! Da-on really is unforgettable 😭 I’m pretty sure this whole story could’ve been resolved if they were throuple 😭🤣
