Actually in history, the real Deok Im and San were childhood friends who grew up together. So it would be weird to not have a childhood encounter in this drama.

For that I was referring to the preview for episode 8 where Deok Im gets in trouble and her belongings are searched. The book that the king gave to Deok Im in episode 1 as a child is found. I think episode 8 might be where San finds about how Deok Im saved him as a child by tearing the page that was insulting the king’s mother.

The ending of episode 7, San is trying to show his feelings to Deok Im and places his hand on her neck for some reason. And that’s where the episode ended. I hope there’s no sexual harassment due to the episode 7 ending scene feeling like a thriller.
