So much potential but the script fell short in the end
The beginning was very entertaining, hilarious and eye catching. I loved the comedy and the building chemistry between the main leads. There was so much potential, and I expected a dramatic conflict due to the premise of the whole mafia family situation.
However, it felt like they built up this whole mafia story and then it just flopped, in the end. There was no climax and it became VERY boring in the last half.
The only good parts of this story was when Thee was having his comedic moments, but when it's repeated over and over, it could get a bit boring, especially when there is no major conflict or story.
This could've been a very good story but the plot felt sloppy and lazy to me. If you like a comedic story that's light hearted with no major conflicts or plot, then this will be for you.

Story wasn't bad but acting took me out of it
Production quality was good and story wasn't bad. However, the acting of JJ was falling short and took me out of the story multiple times. Especially in comparison with his co-star. JJ's emotions felt forced and unbelievable and his expressions awkward. It doesn't matter to me if the acting would fall short for the side actors, but since it's the main character, I was quite disappointed. I really wanted to enjoy this drama. If you want a historical thai story and you're not picky on the acting, you may enjoy this story.
Overall, I wouldn't watch it again or recommend it to others, but at least I gave it a shot.

Strong cast! β€οΈ??
Loved the female cast! Not a lot of dramas do strong female characters well and even if they're strong, they always need the male lead to save them. But all female characters had their own thoughts and solved their own problems.Fan Changyu stayed true to her character and was strong and had her own thoughts, following through with what she wanted. I also loved how Xie Zheng respected her decisions and supported her in what she wanted.
Yu Qian Qian was a very interesting character who did not let others look down on her or mistreat her. I loved her toxic love story, in contrast to the main couple, even if her male co-star was VERY toxic π. I was into his look but not his character.
I didn't know how to feel about the grand princess in the beginning, but I came to love her character. She did her best to step out of the constraints that restricted her in order to follow her heart and help with the nation.
For the male cast, what more do I need to say besides π₯΅π₯΅π₯΅. I was surprised even the uncle was that handsome π Surprisingly, I really liked Sui Yuan Qing. His chemistry with Fan Changyu REALLY stood out to me too. I want them in a drama together π
The kids were PHENOMENOL. They acted out their roles so well and I loved their characters very much! I also want another drama about their characters lol.
Negatives:
What made me dock points was due to the ending. The build up was very good but I felt as if the final fight was very meh. Rebellion was very short and the fight was also short with all of them fighting each other at the same time. I also had a big pet peeve, FAN CHANGYU READ THE LETTER IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. Like... that made no sense π She can't even read properly no matter who teaches her. There's no way she learned how to read properly with what little time they had even if the Xie Cheng taught her. That scene really took me out of the story.
Also, what's with the final part of the last episode? They could've just made a special episode out of those scenes instead of cutting the ending short. It felt rushed. I liked it a lot, but it should've been a special episode. I didn't feel satisfied with the ending.
The ending of a drama can make or break a drama for me, no matter how good it is. Sadly, this ending didn't satisfy me. However, I did enjoy the overall plot, guessing who was good or bad, and who was on the Marquis's side.

Best drama 2026. Plot twists and oufits on point
If you love complicated plots with lots of fighting and mystery, this is for you. If you like more straightforward plots, with not a lot of pondering, this is not for you. Each character had great stories and the plot twists were surprising and unpredictable. Fighting scenes are some of the best that I've seen. Music is S-tier, evoking emotion and being used in the right moments. Visual effects never missed and was extremely impressive.
Chemistry between the 4 main characters were amazing. The sisterhood was especially great. I loved both couples, but my favorite was definitely Ju Jingyi and Tian Jiarui. Their moments together were touching and cute. They can't do without the other. The last half of the series got me crying at every episode because of them π
I was impressed with everyone's acting, but especially with Ju Jingyi. Her facial expressions and portrayal of her character was incredible. I'm glad she was able to show everyone in this drama that she is a very talented actress.
Outfits were extraordinary. I was awed everytime a new outfit was worn by each character, especially the 2 sisters.
Spoilers:
The ending was what made me rate this show a 10/10. Everyone got their happy ending. I was very satisfied with the ending. Some people might not like it since it involves going back to the past to change the future. But it made sense to me if you think about what would've happened if everything went accoding to plan since 50 years ago and they were able to easily defeat the bad guy and have wu shiguang become the proper dragon deity. It made sense no one else remembered the true past except for wu shihuang since he is a dragon. Most importantly, Ji Ling got the happy ending he derserved π.
If I had any minor complaints, it would be that the storyline is VERY complicated so you had to remember everything and piece it together. But I love complicated plots so I don't really mind lol. And using the same actors for characters could get confusing. And I was very sad that the connection between the 2 sisters were no longer there because they do not have memories together anymore π I know it unavoidable, but I'm still sad about it. And it wouldn't affect my rating for the drama as much.

One of the best thai dramas to come out this year
When I saw the pilot for this drama, I was very excited. And after watching the series, it has blown me away and exceeded expectations.Story was very well put together, and the chemistry between the leads was PHENOMENAL. The looks they gave each other as well as the longing and yearning from both characters got me feeling a lot, cheering for their love and success. I definitely cried while watching too π
All actors tried their best and did a very good job even if you could tell they were amateurs. I am definitely the most impressed with Keng Harit. He proved to me that he isnβt just a pretty boy, but someone who can make me believe he is Paran. The fact that his actual personality is very different from his character says a lot.
Music is excellent and beautiful. I like the fact that they did not reuse the same music over and over and only use certain songs at certain points of the drama to create a dramatic/emotional effect. It's a plus that the actors themselves sing the songs.
A surprising part of the drama that impressed me are the effects for the ghosts. They were quite scary because they were not overdone, which lots of horror films tend to do.
Story is somewhat cliche but very well written and also had a twist in the end that surprised me. The ending of the drama that tied everything well together is what made this drama a 100/10. There were loose strings and we got a good ending, even if I wanted more LOL.
My only complaint is Khemjira's character. The actor did a pretty good job, but it was the written character itself that I had a problem with. His character was weak and meek, which was annoying at times. It would've been nice if he had more fight inside of him or more of a personality bc his character could be very boring and uninteresting. He is the definition of a damsel in distress and I'm not the biggest fan of such characters. BUT that's just me being picky and it wouldn't make me take away major points from the drama overall.
Rewatch value is 100/10. I've already rewatched this 5 times bc I felt empty after watching the series, not being able to find something that would fill in the empitness.
I would argue it's the best thai drama of the year!

Second favorite drama of the year!
This drama got me laughing a lot, but also feeling a lot emotions like sadness and anger. Xiahou Dan is the true main character of the series. His character is what made the drama so good and so sad. He is one of those characters that deserve a happy ending the most. All actors did great. Plot was also entertaining and great. Ending was PERFECT. There are NOT a lot of dramas with a satisfying ending.
Rewatch value is also extremely high. Very entertaining. And the music hits at the right spots.
My only complaints are Yu Wan Yin's outfits and makeup. Some outfits were phenomenal and some really flopped. They were too modern or did not match her body well, being overdone. Her makeup did not flattering on her either. Most of the time, she looked like she's got pink-eye. But these are small things I disliked, not enough for me to rate it lower.
