I CANNOT stand how Master Qi has been twisting the truth for his own selfish means... I hope he gets what he deserves…
He is a sly hypocrite. The real bad guys are always the ones trying to impose so called 'righteousness' to an exaggerated extent. Once Cai Zhao finds out about all his dirty deeds, i'm sure she will beat the hell out of him (can't wait for this to happen)
I feel like the whole skin-painted demon story was twisted by Master Qi. It was obvious he disliked seeing Cai Zhao learning about the good sides of the demon sect (fearing history will repeat itself). I feel like Cai Pingshu's friends weren't killed intentionally but due to a misunderstanding caused by Master Qi. He seems like a psycho underneath, well he is after all obsessed with Cai Pingshu.
I think she's always been aware, but whereas he's emotional, she's much more cerebral. Not sure if she's actually…
I really appreciate this perspective. I agree that she has likely always been aware, she simply approaches things with far more restraint and clarity than he does. Where he leads with emotion, she weighs the consequences carefully. You are right, she clearly understands what choosing him would cost her. It makes sense that she would hesitate to trade all of that for a life that may feel limiting, no matter how deep her feelings run.
The parallel with the older generation is indeed compelling. Their relationship was far from healthy or entirely voluntary, and that contrast adds weight to the current storyline. There is a quiet tension in watching history appear to echo itself, his subtle manipulations and her firm resolve to return to her own path.
I’m also very much looking forward to seeing whether they consciously choose to break that cycle, perhaps even reshape the system and the perception of the demon sect altogether.
Finally Cai Zhao is realizing her feelings for Mu Qingyan, she's just as inlove with him as he is but like Mu said, she's timid and doesn't want to be implicated. I really like the tension between the two of them in this episode, the way they stare at each other is electrifying. I love their chemistry the most.
Cai Pingshu was in love with the dad's twin. The dad's twin had a tragic childhood, made him very ambitious and…
Interesting! so he was the masked man in the previews for next episode. Thank you...their love story foreshadows all the angst our main cp will be facing. I am just hoping this will be a HE! Also do you happen to know if ML's mother will get redemption arc? bcs I would hate for that to happen
Lord Song is the funniest character on this show. Him mostly:"Oh go let them explore the world, get to know…
I didn't like him during the first few episodes and thought he was a bad guy, turns out he was Yuzhi's dad😅 which was so unexpected but yeah he is so funny!! The best wingman lol
yeah I feel like Zhao Zhao's Master is still salty that Cai Pingshu chose ML's dad over him and this is going…
I get a feeling he is somewhat part of the reason for Cai Pingshu's death and this def explains why Zhao will get punished harshly later...so the real villain might be him all along
i dont get the complains about the ML being physically weak I love me a male damsel in distress and how he sppreciated…
I don't see him as a damsel in distress, more of someone restrained from the poison but even though he was poisoned he was still powerful enough to rescue fl. I think him and FL have equal powers, like they balance eo out.
So it turns out the Mu x Cai clan are bound to be lovers not mortal enemies. Why do I get the feeling MQY's dad might have also been inlove with Cai Pingshu. Also, I really hate his mother, she is such a snake. I hope there is no redemption arc for her up until the end and she gets locked up and secluded from the world.
