Anyone have a rec for a drama similar to this?
I am trying to find short dramas with similar theme (the history/book theme). Will let you know if I find something. Please tell me if you find anything too!

All in all, this drama was refreshing.

Some thoughts on it, not sure if they can be considered spoilers:

The theme with the library books being in danger was very interesting, and the emotional importance of it in the drama made the whole plot feel more serious and, maybe even, more grounded (as compared to the usual weight of dramas with similar romantic plots and red flag MLs).
Unfortunately, the dialogue/monologue (penultimate scene) on the importance of history, historical continuity etc was way too didactical and made all the emotional build up on this topic get deflated; both a script and propaganda failure, a great pity for the script.
As for the romantic plot, it is , at first glance, the usual age gap romance with the young ingenious, obsessed boy disguising as a little white rabbit in order to get the older sister, plus a nice and competent love rival. Cute, if you like red-red flags.
But the book and history preservation theme gives this cute triangle relationship the aforementioned
weight, and adds depth to the characters, as well as breadth: they might be a love triangle but they also have strong non-love related emotions and emotional drives .
Thus the drama feels refreshing despite its various production and script falts.

PS: And a thought which just occured: the ML's relationship with his mother served as a good emotional(script) groundwork for the ML-FL relationship. This was what made his obsession and her care feel and seem to flow naturally in the story. Although the ML-mother relationship did not take much screentime and was presented in what seemed to be a matter-of-fact way, there were many subtle feelings and details, and , most importantly gray emotional areas. It was on those gray and subtle qualities that the ML-FL relationship was founded so well. That was rather nice scriptwork, and unexpected too. Wish we could know who the writer is.
