SPOILERS: There is a loving granny death, be prepared. Although there is no age gap, it feels so because she is his master and teaches him how to become a human. It also feels a wee bit twisted when they start having romantic thoughts towards each other (she thinks of their relationship as ''Mother and son'' and he calls her "Master"), but the ML is so sincerely passionate and in love that it matters not after a little while. Happy Ending with a sorrowful smile.

Thoughts on this drama: As the title says, her puppy turns into ML, and you can easily guess the rest. The whole ensemble keeps a positive, energetic vibe in their acting, the secondary characters support a big part of the comedic tone. Lead couple too cute. No cunning love rivals, evil best friends, plotting stepmothers, psychotic CEOs etc. No red flag ML. Not even a tiny red flag. Just the dog-becomes-human theme which keeps the story engine (and the romance!) going. There is a scene which implies violence, but nothing too serious, and also totally out of tone and without reason of existence in this drama (I wonder if they added this scene so that the small-role actors could get a full paycheck. No complaints if it was so!). Moreover here are some intimate scenes which I wouldn't wish my teenage niece to watch ( and which I thoroughly enjoyed watching) but other people could very justifiably say I am too conservative.
Conclusion: An easy and lighthearted watch, with a subtle shadow of real sorrow.

This drama has an unconventional, guilt-free profeminist tone, it is humorous, and also has an open ending which, surprisingly, is satisfactory. The linked senses theme allows the two male lead actors to present an engaging, and at times riveting, vast quality palette in their performances. The lead actress is enchanting and convincing in her role. The scriptwriting is quite robust, without long boring scenes or boring repetitions, neither too fast paced nor slow. It is just right most of the time, and the same goes for the editing, which has some good highlights. Art directing is alright, at times good, especially when combined with the cinematography, which is filmic many-a-times. As is the directing, which pairs very well with both cinematography and editing. The costumes have their highs and lows, and , I think, nothing in between. But since the lows aren't many, and not too low, the highs do stand out in one's thought after watching.
It is a good result, and it feels that the teamwork in this drama ... worked , that it worked really well. Hope they can make more dramas, and even films, together in the future.
I am trying to find short dramas with similar theme (the history/book theme). Will let you know if I find something. Please tell me if you find anything too!
Some thoughts on it, not sure if they can be considered spoilers:
The theme with the library books being in danger was very interesting, and the emotional importance of it in the drama made the whole plot feel more serious and, maybe even, more grounded (as compared to the usual weight of dramas with similar romantic plots and red flag MLs). Unfortunately, the dialogue/monologue (penultimate scene) on the importance of history, historical continuity etc was way too didactical and made all the emotional build up on this topic get deflated; both a script and propaganda failure, a great pity for the script. As for the romantic plot, it is , at first glance, the usual age gap romance with the young ingenious, obsessed boy disguising as a little white rabbit in order to get the older sister, plus a nice and competent love rival. Cute, if you like red-red flags. But the book and history preservation theme gives this cute triangle relationship the aforementioned weight, and adds depth to the characters, as well as breadth: they might be a love triangle but they also have strong non-love related emotions and emotional drives . Thus the drama feels refreshing despite its various production and script falts.
PS: And a thought which just occured: the ML's relationship with his mother served as a good emotional(script) groundwork for the ML-FL relationship. This was what made his obsession and her care feel and seem to flow naturally in the story. Although the ML-mother relationship did not take much screentime and was presented in what seemed to be a matter-of-fact way, there were many subtle feelings and details, and , most importantly gray emotional areas. It was on those gray and subtle qualities that the ML-FL relationship was founded so well. That was rather nice scriptwork, and unexpected too. Wish we could know who the writer is.
Finally a screenwriter who wrote a good funny script for a short drama! Just finished watching "Bossy Husband Who Loved Me" , many-many thanks for writing the script!!!
