I don't know what the point of this movie was... It's hard to rate because it looks good and the acting is fine but the story is lacking big time. 4/10
I liked the first episode. They made good changes by having the contestants meet almost at the same time, and the “ice-breaking game” was also a nice addition. It’s difficult to say who I’m rooting for but for now I like Siwon&Jiseung.
As a filmmaking experiment this movie was very impressive. Near the end, after an over 1h-long one-shot fight scene, I was exhausted along with Musashi. Unfortunately the choreography was repetitive and the quality of the camera work was sometimes very amateurish. Overall, I enjoyed it as something very different from "normal" samurai cinema. 7/10
I can't wait for this one! I hope the guys will be more proactive than in season 1, and that at least some of the age differences will be under 10 years.
This season is killing me. ML is 29 and portrayed as a 17-year-old virgin. FL is 38 again and acts like an old…
I'm not sure if we watched the same drama because for me they were quite comfortable to move quickly though steps in relationship regarding the intimacy 😉 I would never thought of this ML as "17-year-old virgin" 😅
Can someone help explain the details of 2 x-rays of the hearts for me. I dont really get it. So the first xray…
I think the operation was on Yumi's heart when Soonrok drew the line between them in the restaurant. That's why he told Yumi he had a blind date and asked if she could introduce someone to him (so Love Cell "removed" Yumi's heart). His Love Cell didn't notice at first that there was also Soonrok's heart x-ray with growing feelings for Yumi.
Is the plot point where she sets him up on a bind date with a friend in the webtoon too? I can't help but think…
I think she really wanted to forget about him and set him up with her friend. She even said to herself after reading a message from Jenny "You two figure it out yourselves. Please, just leave me out of it".
IMO Yumi's previous relationships didn't work mostly because of her lack of communication. I think they'll try to emphasise that with Soonrok she'll have to learn how to be vocal about her needs and fears because he won't get it if she's not direct :D
if the makers didn't steal shinrook's scenes for that yubabi we would've gotten more to see this season
I'm pretty sure a lot of Babi's scenes were in the webtoon Soonrok's - like giving the umbrella back, the blind date (but Babi cancelled it, whereas Soonrok met a girl and Yumi was also jealous), the shower scene (with Babi taking a long time and Yumi falling asleep on his couch), the date in a bookstore, and Babi catching Yumi when she fell. Also 1224 being Babi's favorite numbers - those are Soonrok's numbers in the webtoon (his cell village is Christmas-themed because his name in Korean means reindeer). That's all that I can remember...
I wouldn’t be surprised if next week his POV reveals that he has a huge crush on her as a writer and a woman but wants to stay professional with boundaries- that’s why he’s so uptight around her. He probably reserved different seats on the train when he caught up with it because he had to run and was soaked in sweat and didn’t want to bother her lol
Two days is insane but I understand why, it’s so good!
I know, I just wanted to watch it and finish before the last episode of season 3, but it's a great series and I couldn't stop myself :) I basically spend my weekend watching it, but I have no regrets :D
