I watched this back in 2021 and it was one of the first Japanese movies that I watched. A good and even great movie and it's what got me into watching Japanese dramas and movies in the first place. One of the few films that I watched multiple times and still think about today.
I was also quite surprised with Ishikawa's performance who was at the time a rookie but acted very well. I watched several of her other roles after this and after all these years this is still her best performance by a long shot.

The anime and drama goes up to chapter 81 of the manga. So if you want to continue, then you have to read the manga which goes all the way to chapter 277.
