6.4/10 Great concept. A lot of potential but the ending just wasn't satisfying to me. I think it was a little convenient. Villain didn't seem like they type that will immediately go after the crowd. He waits for the right moment. Cool spiral though
I wished the story focused more on the husband or the guard or even the bullied kid. It felt like the good people, the people who are likable, met their end too soon, and you don't know how to feel about it, so you are just forced to go along with the characters that are left
Something I notice in film is that when male characters do something terrible, they almost certainly meet their death moments later, but for female characters, it takes much longer
Another pattern 🙄 before women are brave in film, the men that's around them have to die. Women can be brave too, they should be brave from the start. Killing off male characters in to force bravery from the female characters is insulting
Female lead should have known, that once you've been infected, it would be difficult to reverse the process, also about the nerve damage
Female lead didn't even go check the room where she left the students 💀💀 she also decided to kill the antagonist cause she got offended... btw she was all like 'must keep the vaccine safe', if she had let the guard kill him the movie would be over much sooner
"never mind what others think, what do you think" that's not how you should justify yourself in doing something
surprise surprise killing the villain didn't exactly stop the colony. the monkeys were test subjects 🤦🤦
I didn't read the manhwa so this is completely new for me. I'm a little interested but I don't have high hopes for the story. It doesn't seem like it has a whole lot to say
This drama hits a little too close to home. I wasn't too keen on the side relationship, clearly less focus was placed on it. Female lead's acting is definitely something. I want to give it a 9/10
Actually pretty good and for the most part I think it was well told. The male had to take a similar leap of faith kinda like what started his whole arc, which had me at odds. More happy with the first few episodes than the last and I wish we had more screen time to shine more light on some unanswered questions.. We could have easily gotten a 16 episode drama with a trauma theme
A breath of fresh of air, something different in Korean in drama from what i've been seeing, packaged with its romance cliches. 8/10
a very underrated show. I thought it was a nice blend between comedy and thriller, in fact the comedy made it all the more light-hearted and enjoyable for me. I wonder if there'll be a season 2, we can definitely get some nice development from the main cast family, though not really necessary
I dread watching really good kdramas, I often think I'd really enjoy watching it with my so. With 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty', I can't truly say that I'm satisfied, mostly with the ending. Many parts felt rushed and important parts skipped. I would have been perfectly fine with a season 2, focusing a bit more on the king, and their lives in the future. Also seeing all the characters in the future took away all of the tension and weight behind their actions.
Having said all of that... I think Ji Yeong is the coolest female character in kdrama.
Excited for the sequel!
