See, there are many reasons chinese dramas are dubbed. It may be because of the actor who's not too fluent in Chinese or maybe had some accent or dialect so they dub for him/her (as chinese dramas feature standard mandarin language). Or, it may be because the actor's voice doesn't suit or looks incompatible to his face (happens a lot when they need a good face card for the drama but voice doesn't suit so they bring over dubbing artists)
