I think it's Jeollanam-do province also known as Jeonnam ( I initially thought it was a city but I looked it up). it was mentioned in episode 6 at 11:36 when they showed the location of the college entrance exam.

I couldn't finish this drama because it triggered something I had buried deep in my soul with its raw and disturbing scenes. However, it left me concerned about the mental health of the director and scriptwriters.

this show was carried by the side couple cause the story of Korn and Tonkla was much more touching than the main couple although the plot was confusing at the beginning and the use of a lot of sex scene made the show a bit cheap but it was a good experience 8 out of ten
