The airing schedule for this show has to follow CCTV1 . Since CCTV1 is airing a special program for Teachers' Day today, updates were supposed to be paused. But it seems iQIYI messed up their settings, they released two episodes today that actually meant for tomorrow then they took it down 😫😫 The treatment for this drama really that poor. No promotion or push either from platform 🥲

As a result, the plot's interactions and development rely heavily on Cao Xin to move things forward. For instance, when depicting their burgeoning romance, the camera always focuses on his eyes to let the audience know that there's something growing between them.

So now I understand why the director said she'd set up another camera just for him.

That’s why I don’t worry much about international audiences. You’d have to be pretty lucky to stumble upon a good drama like this. Slice-of-life dramas aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but they can be such a comfort watch for some people.
This drama doesn’t have much marketing either, so it’s understandable if people haven’t discovered it yet. But honestly, they’re really missing out on such a hidden gem.

And honestly, not every drama can get aired on TV, especially on CCTV1~ That alone says something about this drama~
