Hardly any chemistry between the main couple.

A lot of aspects in this show were credible. The cast, the acting, the production, but the writing is...questionable. I felt like it was hard to feel chemistry between Hae Won and Eun Gyu because everything between them was extremely rushed. They liked each other pretty much instantly. Nothing wrong with a "love at first sight" trope but this was just so forced. Eun Gyu knew next to nothing about Hae Won before developing feelings for him. It was all just so unrealistic.

The plotline is very basic on the surface, it's just another love triangle trope. Nothing wrong with that. My issue is that Hae Won arguably had more chemistry with Ji Soo than he did with Eun Gyu. They didn't have much time to develop a deep enough relationship, but they still had more time to develop feelings for each other than Hae Won and Eun Gyu did. They interacted...how many times? And even then those interactions were very shallow, forced, and unrealistic. I felt like half of the show was just Eun Gyu getting jealous rather than actual story development. The chemistry between them felt awkward in a way. There was no build up to it, either. Eun Gyu was jealous of Hae Won and Ji Soo from pretty much the very first time they interacted. It's hard to feel the chemistry between the two when they barely had any time to develop any kind of relationship and basically just liked each other from the get go.
