Both dramas are light and refreshing but have a more serious undertone that deals with crime.

Both FL’s end up in a small rural town after leaving their lives in the big city. Then they meet the ML’s who have intriguing backstories.

Both ML’s are kind and unconditionally caring to the FL’s.

Shin Eun Soo is in both dramas and does a great job at being the sassy teenaged side character.

These dramas are so similar in concept, cuteness, comedy, and just overall freshness. One reminds me of the other and vice versa.

There really isn't anything too dramatic in either. There's nothing to truly stress you out. Both give off a feel-good vibe and make you laugh.

Without spoiling, the premise of how both relationships in these two dramas start are pretty similar. It's definitely not cliché or overused though! I love the concept and the execution is different, so it's still refreshing and enjoyable.

I would rewatch BOTH dramas (I have rewatched Cherry Magic already LOL). If you liked one, you are sure to like the other.

WBL seasons 1 and 2 are probably my favorite BL's of all time... but then I watched ITSAY and IPYTM last night and now I'm a wreck.

Both are amazing, sweet, and heart-wrenching. I think what makes them similar is how real the emotions that the actors convey feels. I'd probably say IPYTM is more realistic, but the feelings in both are raw and heart stopping. The actors in one particular scene of WBL (yall who saw it know exactly what scene I'm referencing) made me feel like I was in the movie with them.

What both dramas do a great job of focusing on is the power of the eyes and how so many words can be said by just looking at someone. It HURTS but it also makes my heart smile. Sorry if none of this made sense. byeeeee :) <3

Okay, so I just finished Reply 1988.

And I'm currently watching Hospital Playlist with my mom.

The similarities are DEAFENING!

Don't get me wrong, the plot and storylines are completely different. The similarities are within the relationship dynamic of a strong friendship among a group of people that interact in the same environment every day. There are serious moments, but the comedy is *chef's kiss*. Both casts are golden.

While I haven't finished Hospital Playlist yet, I'm so excited to keep watching! (I have to wait until my mom has time to watch the next ep. Grrrr)

Reply 1988 was so amazing. I wrote a review on it right before this, so click on my page to see how I enjoyed it.

Bottom line is that if you enjoyed one, you'll enjoy the other.

Both are similar in that a large group of people is committing horrible things to innocent people/kids. Save Me has more of a supernatural/hypnosis twist to it while Kill It focuses more on combat and law. I recommend one if you've seen the other. Both are worth the watch.

Basically becomes the same concept.

The rich guy owns the building that girl works at --> The guy is the top chef of the restaurant that girl works at
The girl is a witch --> The girl is possessed by a ghost
The girl has to kiss the guy for some supernatural reason --> The girl has to "get with" the guy for some supernatural reason

etc.

Basically, its the same concept.

Rich school. Poor girl 'somehow' ends up going to the rich school for a reason. Spoiled rich boy falls for poor girl. Other crazy girl that has had a crush on spoiled rich guy for years tries to bully poor girl and make her life a living hell. Yada, Yada. Rich guy and poor girl end up together. Both were really good dramas.

This is also a Must Watch drama. If you haven't seen Boys Over Flowers then you haven't experienced an iconic drama. Don't @ me.

Basically the same concept, except Sassy Go Go is 10x better. Trigger warning though.

Heartstrings is cute and I love the music. Sassy Go Go is also cute with a deeper plot.
